Cox Tuning Adapters in Northern Virginia

Post by suttonb1 »

I've had a Cisco STA1520 for years. The thing is HUGE. Anyone else on Cox in NoVA given a different adapter like the Motorola MTR700 or something else? I'm moving all of my equipment to a media enclosure, and space is limited.

You would only get the moto in a moto market as the tuning adapters only work with the same type of card.

Ok. Are there any other tuning adapters available in Cisco markets?

no... as "nothing" has changed in regards to their use since then that would require such change and requiring such a huge box is another way they push customers to as a STB that could fit in the palm of your hand or other full(er) sized boxes that look a lot more modern.
