Need Help New User HD Connect

HD Homerun Connect issue. I have two HD Home Run connects both were brand new in the boxes till yesterday. Here is my problem no mater what device I use I get the same error Your HD Homerun DVR wasn't found. Now the really strange part if I look on my computer it shows up I can discover channels and everything. When I start the app it just goes to a black screen.

Steps I have taken so far

Rebooted device multiple times.
Tried two different HD Connects.
Connected two different Cat 5 cables
connected to two different switches I have as well as directly into my modem.
Devices used Nvidia Shield, Roku, Ipad.
I don't know what else to try any help would be appreciated.

Try changing the channel. Sometimes the app gets stuck on a channel that no longer "exists" and it just sits there on a black screen, trying to load it.

Can you describe your network setup? Do you have just one router, or are there multiple routers, access points, network switches, or any mesh networking?

Did you run channel scans on both of them and did they actually find channels?
