attic and outdoor mounting

Post by n4mwd » Fri Jan 17, 2020 9:55 am

I have the SD HDHR Connect Duo and would like to know if it can be installed in the attic without damaging it? The idea is to get it as close to the antenna as possible.

The same question for outdoor mounting under the eave of the house.

The attic is better protected from the weather, but can easily reach 150 F in the afternoon.

No. It's designed for use in the standard consumer electronics 0-40 °C (32-104 °F) ambient temperature range.
