Antietam Cable line up change

Post by rick_unger » Sat Oct 19, 2019 6:15 am

Antietam Broadband changed the lineup a few weeks ago. HDHomerun won't find the channels in the 170-191 range. Can watch them on TV by tuning to, say, 118.2 for NHK (which ought to be on 170). I checked Report Diagnostics and just ran a scan. Any tips would be appreciated.

I would check if you can manually tune (hdhomerun_config usually helps with this)

For it to be "listed", psip information has to be provided by your provider for the channel number... and for guide not only is channel number required, the name of the channel is also required. If it is on the wire, and clear qam, most likely if such information isn't present, it will show up in the 5000's as it needs a virtual channel number to be tuned with the modern method of tuning (SD's software only uses this method).

Yes, the channels are in the 5000's. I thought those were the channels that were allocated for no longer available HDHomeRun paid service. I suppose I have to figure out how to map the guide data in Emby. I hope that will resolve it.
