PS4 question

Does a PS4 access HDHome run prime via an APP (like X box one)
or via DNLA (like a Ps3 does)

i was thinking of getting a PS4 - but wanted to k now ahead of time

On my PS3 - using the DNLA, sometimes ONE channel won't tune in, it is sporadic and will fix itself within a day, and idea how this happens? it never happens via the APP on my Xbox one S.

Everything else will work, it will only be one channel, and it is a different channel each time.

Is it on wifi? The PS3 is ancient and only supports 11g, which isn't going to work for HD video in most instances. Other than that, it's basically a black box where there's no way to see inside and figure out why it might not be working.

so no clue why random channels get the "video is unsupported" error

No clue, and there's no way to find out since it's all internal to the PS3.
