HDHR5-4DT : UK Freeview

Post by HEADRAT » Tue Sep 10, 2019 5:37 am

Hi,

I used to be able to receive the below on my HDHR5-4DT (on UK Freeview from Sandy Heath Transmitter)

Image

As per:

https://ukfree.tv/transmitters/tv/Sandy_Heath

Now when I scan all of the above channels are missing!

How can I get them back?

Thanks

Please enable the sending of diagnostic data on your HDHomeRun and run a channel scan (https://info.hdhomerun.com/info/trouble ... iagnostics) then reply back with the device ID for your HDHomeRun and we will check the logs.

The logs indicate the signal strength on most of your channels is only about 50%, which is basically the minimum where you can expect to have a chance of receiving anything. On the Sandy Heath transmitter, the 7 and 8 muxes are sent out at a much lower power level than the rest, so they're coming in with even lower signal strength, too low to decode. You should check your aerial and wiring as there's probably something wrong that is causing everything to come in with such low strength.
