Channel Scan from MacBook Pro

Postby SirDigitalKnight » Thu Dec 27, 2018 8:50 am

Does anyone know if and or how to do a channel scan from a MacBook Pro or a Chromebook or an iPhone or Android phone?

what device... legacy must be done from windows to work with the modern software , modern devices are done from the device's web page as the tuner itself maintains the lineup

Dual ATSC Tuner Model: HDHR-US

its pretty old.... think I got it on Woot back when Woot was Woot and not owned by Amazon....

I am wanting to get it working with Plex pass... And I got it to scan in Plex and it does find channels and gave me a nice complete guide .... But gives an error when I try to view a channel... Probably because it needs a real scan from a Windows PC?

Anyone have an older version of the software that will run on Windows XP?

I don't believe there's any version of the software that will run on XP and will scan and upload the results as needed. XP support was dropped long before the current system was designed.
