Local Channel freeze a lot

Location : Burbank, CA
Setup : OTA installed at roof top (RCA Compact Outdoor Yagi HDTV Antenna with 70 Mile Range (ANT751E)
Router : AC-1900 Asus ( DHCP setup for HDHR)
HDHR connected to TP-Link AC1900 Desktop Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender w/ 5 Gigabit Ethernet Ports (RE580D)

I am just a few miles away from TV stations but it freeze a lot.

I tried several things like using those indoor antenna connected to my HDHR and still the same result.
I tried also connecting the HDHR direct to the router and the same result.

Anyone can guide me???

Hello.
Just a few thoughts:
What app/device are you using to view the programmes? Are you getting the same experience on other devices?
Are you able to try a wired ethernet device to rule out wifi issues?
Given you are a few miles away from the transmitter is the signal too strong - that can cause corrupt signals as much as a weak signal?
Are you using the dvr?
If dvr: Try turning that off completely - even live signals go via the dvr (for live pause/seek) so if the dvr setup is problematic that can cause issue.
If dvr: Do recordings exhibit the same problem?
What is your device id?
Can you enable remote diagnostics, retune the connect and replicate the issue. Reply here with the device id of your connect afterwards so we may examine the diagnostics.
