Reboot Connect Quatro Via Web GUI?

Post by urbnsr »

I am looking for a way to reboot our Connect Quatro some way other than going to the device and power-cycling the tuner. I looked on the web GUI, but find nothing there. Firmware status indicates it is up to date. Any other way? Thanks.

No GUI way to reboot a CONNECT.

Are you seeing a problem/issue?

Thanks.
No, not really a problem, Signal/symbol quality was way down across all channels. I normally can see one channel a bit low, but not all. Tuner is not in the best of location as far as easy access, so I was looking for a more convenient way to reboot. I have power-cycled the tuner and as of now all channels are looking *much* better. I understand the reboot may not have been the solution and it could have been environment as far as the cause.

Thanks again.

You could try this locally:
rpcameron wrote: Sat May 15, 2021 9:36 am Tuners can be rebooted from the command line with hdhomerun_config:

Code: Select all

hdhomerun_config FFFFFFFF set /sys/restart self
Likewise, you can force unlock a tuner and close its stream:

Code: Select all

hdhomerun_config FFFFFFFF set /tunerX/lockkey force
hdhomerun_config FFFFFFFF set /tunerX/channel none
In those examples, replace FFFFFFFF with your tuner’s DeviceID, and X with the tuner number (starting from 0) that you wish to force close.
Further hdhomerun_config instructions here.
