Re: Only 1 day EPG with subscription
What client (device/app) and is this in slice guide, search, or grid guide (and if grid guide is slice disabled)? What location (some regions often get temporary issues)? Have you set up the DVR Engine? Have you associated your devices with your account (and restarted app since)? Typically I never &...

Re: DVR usage without subscription?
Recording with SD"s DVR/apps requires subscription... without subscription the record engine only serves as buffer.

Re: HR3 (Dual) not showing in Roku App
Roku requires http streaming which isn't available on legacy devices.

Re: HDHomeRun EXTEND network issues
The devices will always have a random link local ipv4 apipa address even when there is another address assigned. They "borrowed" this scheme from ipv6 which also will have a link local address.

Re: Unable to delete recording task
I think you are confusing tasks and recorded a bit... the green checkmark is what you currently have recorded and still have. A red dot is what is expected to record a grey dot is a candidate and nothing means it isnt a candidate. The delete in record more deletes the TASK not the episode (note when...

Re: Can't find tuner that's on a different VLAN?
Discovery is done by broadcast which requires same subnet/vlan. Note vlans by nature should be on different subnets and routable if you wish to communicate between them (over the years I have seen strange configurations) this routing needs to go both ways to get a reply. My suggestion if you want to...

Re: Is there a way to remap channels to the correct station?
To do so the psip data typically must also contain a virtual channel number AND a name... sometimes clear qam won't have those, but cablecard should.

Re: No Sound On Roku - tsberry901
I don't know the level of support that particular model roku can provide for Dolby AC3 audio, typically those models require dolby passthrough and I would definitely say it is highly unlikely a panasonic at that age can support AC3 audio via HDMI.

Re: HDHR refuses to record football game
Did you specify channel when you set the recording? How long prior to the start of the game was the channel disabled? What are you running the DVR engine on and is there more than 1? Have you restarted the app since? Have you checked devices if such recording exists even (partial)? The DVR Engine ca...

Re: DVR
Those instructions are "old" but I believe are still present on just about any newly purchased device... it used to be that going to that site would show all your devices so it was easy to access the device and see if firmware upgrades were available... a few years ago, browsers decided to...

Re: lost channels after firmware update
Particularly after 3 years I would first suspect power supply... most often you will first notice such after a firmware update as it typically continues working until that reboot from installing the firmware.

Re: Roku not on the same ip subnet as HDHomeRun
Not for the HDHomeRun app... I think typically roku uses "dlna" for discovery so you would need to let such pass through subnets, most other devices use broadcast discovery which there are also unofficial ways to get such broadcasts and responses through various subnets.

Re: Editing Channel list for HDHomerun Dual
No way to edit for the app when it comes to legacy devices as legacy devices don't maintain their own lineup. To partially work with the modern apps, SD came up with a using a windows pc to scan a legacy device and upload that scanned data to SD so a lineup can be presented, Long ago they used to al...

Re: DVR app and sleep mode
The record engine must be on something that doesn't sleep, it even does periodic writes preventing drive from sleeping. Many don't run a record engine on a pc but use a NAS, scribe, servio or drive attached to a flex

Re: Xfinity cablecard successfully activated, no channels detected
I would always suggest proper pairing of the card but with comcast most markets you can get most channels without such (typically for comcast only premiums like hbo need full propper pairing)... I'd be curious if such works with a Cisco card (but would still plan on pairing afterwards) as I had neve...
