As far as I can tell, the HDHomeRun is happy, but is showing all the channels (except for unencrypted local channels) as not-subscribed still. In other words, something on the cable provider's side still isn't right. It could even be a bad card, or they might even have the wrong numbers for your card.

The tuning adapter can be moved freely to the PRIME without extra set up.

If the external drive was not formatted as "internal storage" then the recordings can probably be recovered by a file recovery tool. If it was formatted as internal storage then the drive was encrypted and the recordings are pretty much lost.

It looks like the DVR is failing to create new folders, which would likely be a permissions issue. Sorry about that, Google/Android updates lag a bit behind, and the website isn't smart enough to know the difference between Android and other platforms.

It looks like your DVR account is still tied to your older HDHomeRun unit. I've resent you the activation e-mail link, and that should connect it to the new 4K unit.

Each location will need a separate DVR account with subscription. Check out on the shop site with another e-mail address to generate a second account.

From what you've said here, you need to contact the cable company and figure out why the PRIME is getting such poor signal, as that is the issue. The only people who can fix that is your cable provider.
