Re: HDHomerun and DRM Issue -- Is there ANY Box that will allow
Nothing android you can get... currently what is required is to have a valid key which is typically valid for a year after install... so if you got that key renewed before the issue was up it still might be working for a few more months but Google messed things up and any new install or key renewal ...

Re: guide missing most channels
I would run a scan and make sure it picks up those channels... the other apps you listed can just request any channel (doesn't need to show up from scan) with any virtual channel number and if the card (or ta) has such number it will tune.

Re: HDHomeRun CONNECT - Tuner1
Are you viewing 2 shows at once? Any request usually grabs the first available tuner as it uses the auto parameter. If you have the dvr, such request from sd's software will go through that and it can share the tuner to record and live view.
Other software may make you add the tuners separately.

Re: POE versions
Cheap poe can often result in same issue as wall wart going out which then requires entire unit be replaced when such does.
It would be nice if SD offered such poe splitter (similar to lte filter) but know that such may go out as often, or maybe even more often, than a wall wart but I am not sure ...

Re: Las Vegas - Channel 29 or Channel 1?
They remain on outbox until opened.
As for plp, for most apps that will always be based on scan and I thought that question was answered aa being a bug with the adjacent channel which if that is the issue will require new firmware.

Re: Are ATSC 3.0 recordings DRM encrypted
sorry, from the title I was thinking more about for stations that are marked as DRM. Obviously if it isn't DRM it will allow such recordings.
The issue with plex and most other things is the ac4 audio not the video (unless DRM).
Again when it comes to recording that through hdmi, that isn't ...

Re: Are ATSC 3.0 recordings DRM encrypted
For this forum that is all moot as the hdhr 4k's do not currently work with drm.
One of the purposes of drm is to prevent such distribution as everything is supposed to ensure what it hands off to will also ensure such. However one of the delays in releasing some boxes was caused by the first box ...

Re: WRC (4.x) may have gone DRM only?
When did you try as i have seen others in VA not see it early this morning including an hourly graph at rabbitears showing it down for 6 hours (there could be other reasons for that though, and I did not try others)

Re: Las Vegas - Channel 29 or Channel 1?
First thing I'd check is if it went to different coding thus requiring better snr but there are a million other things that can affect reception. I think you said it was 8/15 before but that might have been for something else.

Re: New episodes view
If you are going to do such hide feature, I would love the hide feature of discover brought back, the dvr could do similar and hide some recordings.
Edit: I have not looked at if ".hidden" messes up upcoming episodes yet for ui if one were to select such a show and it has been awhile since I have ...

Re: Don't like the new UI. Option to revert back to old UI?
The new interface has been really jarring to me, especially interleaving "Coming Soon" entries with those already recorded. Is there a way to see a list of just the recorded episodes? "Coming Soon" doesn't seem to mesh with the "Recorded" tab it's part of. I'm not really sure of the benefit of the ...

Re: Las Vegas - Channel 29 or Channel 1?
That info helped a lot. It looks like a bug in the channel scan code. It's somehow managing to pick up PLP0 from KVCW and PLP2 from KVPX simultaneously and is thinking both are on channel 28, so the KVCW stations get recorded as being on 28. It's never come up before because the only other market ...

Re: HDHomeRun UI (20250314) feedback
I think what is needed is for "classic" interface be built into the app and be made to not rely on internet connections and can be selected as a default interface. While the new interface may be more internet dependent.

Re: HDHomeRun UI (20250314) feedback
I think one of the reasons for the problem is that they seem intended to have discover and recorded essentially have the "same" interface where the audience at that time is essentially different and as a result neither works "well" though I think it works a bit better for "discover" rather than ...
