Re: Flex 4K keeps crashing

We would like to get some diagnostic data to see what is happening:

In a web browser go to http://hdhomerun.local
NOTE: That address will go do the first HDHomeRun device found on your network. If you have more than one HDHomeRun device, use the "device ID" printed on the bottom of the unit ...

Re: BDA tuner locked.

Yes, the BDA driver automatically locks the tuner while streaming (and unlocks it when done).

Re: TECH5-16US-4x4 Output to a DIRECTV Com2000

When you click on the device ID in the TECH Config GUI there will be a tab to set the boot script. And yes, that is the RF channel number.

When sending to a unicast target, you should add no_clear to the end, in order to prevent it from stopping the stream if the receiver rejects the incoming data ...

Re: TECH5-16US-4x4 Output to a DIRECTV Com2000

Install the HDHomeRun Config GUI for TECH from https://download.silicondust.com/hdhomerun/hdhomerun_tech_windows.exe on a Windows PC that is on the same subnet as the TECH unit, then open the software once installed. You will be able to click on each of the 4 units and set a boot script for it. Here ...

Re: HDHomeRun logs out middle of show - Kraig

Is the crash always when watching 11.1 or does it also happen on other channels? The logs suggest that something related to the parental control data is problematic, so we will probably need to get a recording from that channel that exhibits the problem for our app team to investigate. The best way ...

Re: Las Vegas - Channel 29 or Channel 1?

All the old screenshots are expired, but that would definitely be the first thing to check. The scale of signal quality changes depending on the required minimum signal quality to receive a particular signal, so if the modulation or code rate changes it is normal for the quality to change even if ...

Re: Las Vegas - Channel 29 or Channel 1?

Symbol quality is basically a ratio of uncorrupted packets vs total packets. If there isn't anything being transmitted on the PLP except LLS data, then there won't be any packets most of the time, and thus it will mostly sit at 0% except for spikes to 100% when the LLS comes in.

Re: Channel Master FM Filter Question

Can you switch back to the Televes and then watch or record something on ABC for a while? The signal does look pretty good from the Stellar Labs, but there were some reception issues earlier. I'm not sure that you're going to do significantly better than the Televes. There are a few options that are ...

Re: Channel Master FM Filter Question

Can you turn on the Send diagnostic information option on the System Menu page on the HDHomeRun's web page, run a channel scan, and reply back with the device ID? I'd like to see what the signals look like currently.

Re: Live tv keeps freezing

Do you have the display refresh rate set at 59/60Hz?

Have you tried an older driver version? The latest is usually the best, except when it's not. It can be worth going back a few months or a year just to see if an older one works better. https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/previous-drivers ...
