Re: SiliconDust
Looks like the consumer models aren't showing up on that list for some countries. We are looking into it.

Re: DVR on Synology NAS not seen by HDHomeRun tuner?
The NAS installer on Windows is a holdover from when we didn't have a Synology-specific installer. It can be ignored if you are using Synology (and some other brands).

What kind of antenna are you using? Do you have a picture of it or a product link for it? Is it amplified at all? The signal coming in looks very off.

Is the drive still mounted in Windows? The logs show:
Recorded: RecordPath 'D:\Recorded TV\' not found or not ready

Re: DVR on Synology NAS not seen by HDHomeRun tuner?
First, a question if you don't mind--where would I find those logs? If I could see those, I could probably troubleshoot this a little easier. They get sent to our debug server and a local copy is written to your recording path, but since the recording path isn't working, you're not going to have an...

What does the contents of your hdhomerun.conf file show? The logs from your account are showing a bad recording path.

Re: Encryption
If this release is BS, why doesn't SD issue it's own press release stating this, and file a complaint to the ATSC committee and the FCC stating that their PR announcement failed to provide the requirements for a gateway DVR? Try putting the heat on the A3SA and call them out so consumers know that ...

Re: Encryption
So, I guess we’re now waiting to hear back from SD on whether the path to approval with their gateway devices playing DRM live is clearer with this document in hand? I think Nick plans on making a post, but the long story short is that not much has changed. They say one thing, but have yet to defin...

The HDHomeRun does not contain an internal filter.Flyoffacliff wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 5:18 am First time I have heard of these LTE filters. I was under the impression the HDHR devices had an internal "filter" that could be set by the software?

Re: Black screen with "Audio only", etc.
The app attempts to detect if the decoders are working, and some other stuff, so it might be that we need to set something manually for that specific box, rather than automatic detection.

Re: HDHomeRun 4K is Nextgen TV Certified
I just received some information that the HDHOMERUN FLEX 4K is obsolete to decode ASC 3.0 DRM because it does not support HDMI. "Certified" or not my device just 3 weeks old cannot decode the two DRM channels in Minneapolis. WCCO Ch. 104.1 and NBC Ch. 111.1 Received information from who? ...

Can you reboot the unit (unplug it from power for a second or two, then plug it back in) and then reply back?
