Re: Synology SPK for DVR Record Engine

Either /volume1/HDHomeRun does not exist or the DVR does not have permissions to access it.

Re: Synology SPK for DVR Record Engine

The HDHomeRun DVR and DVBLogic are completely separate, unrelated programs. You can access the DVR through the HDHomeRun app on supported platforms - Windows, Mac, Xbox One, Android, and iOS, as well as the Kodi add-on.

Re: Raspberry pi with external hard drive

Re: Mac HDHomeRun DVR Advanced Configuration

The path for an external drive will be /Volumes/nameofdrive/. So, if you wanted to record to an HDHomeRun folder and the drive is named MyDrive, you would change the line to:

RecordPath=/Volumes/MyDrive/HDHomeRun/

Channels with 2.0 audio (including most SD channels) will play normally. Solution: open the Audio decoder config...

No, it will not work over the internet. The data rate for even SD channels is far higher than what 98% of home internet connections are capable of uploading, and there are ttl limits prescribed by the various specifications the HDHomeRun PRIME supports that limits it to work only within a home netwo...

No, it is a way to access live streams directly from HDHomeRun PRIME. It could be used with something like wget to handle recordings from a script on something like a NAS box.

The output is a standard MPEG TS containing whatever video and audio the cable provider uses, typically MPEG2 video and AC3 audio, though occasionally you'll run across others like H.264 video and MPEG audio. UPnP isn't a single protocol...
