Re: Hide Detected Channels

On the device's lineup page click the empty star to fill it gold (yellow) to mark it as a favorite... click that gold star to disable (X), click disable to set it back to being regularly enabled again

Re: 62.8 EVINE Chicago is actually Comet TV

Make sure when reporting guide issues to include your DeviceID... Typically the first place to look is Zap2It as they use the same provider and typically such filters down to SD's guide within a day of it showing up there... the fact they already has such properly listed makes me want to suggest run...

Re: New firmware questions

Don't worry about the date stated there as that is usually the last to be updated... generally you would want to follow the liniks in the download page in the forum at https://forum.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=20613 and get the latest windows or mac installer. My suggestion is to get...

Noticed today that zap2it has listings for TWIST in my market... still not showing up as such for SD's apps but typically it takes a day after showing up at zap...

Re: HD HomeRun PRIME and Verizon FIOS - DRM Problems

You should be able to view such with the official app on many platforms including iOS, Android (official non rooted device, does not include fireTV), and windows 10. You can also view and record such with WMC (preferably windows 7). You won't be able to view such with plex, channels, and just about ...

Re: Configuring Operating frequency

Are you sure you didn't switch a couple of digits on the dtu-315 (not 351 as stated) as I thought the 351 was an input device that wouldn't output to the rf input on the hdhr but until last night I didn't even know the 315 could optionally support atsc3 as I have a sheet that didn't list such and I ...

Re: Will Flex/Scribe 4K work in this scenario?

Typically it would not be run "directly" on your TV but via the shield and roku would be what connects via the network to it. Since the drive is on that device for the most part a good wireless extender should work to get it on your network successfully but would suggest a wired connection, even if ...

Re: HDhomerun DVR Software Recording Limits?

I've had no issues recording 7 at once on the old white single bay McCloud that was part of the KS while viewing on 8 devices but it has been quite some time since tested such. Recording takes virtually no cpu power at all so a more powerful system doesn't do anything but can help with other softwar...

Re: Flex 4K

One thing I noticed today is that the apps seem to default to the flex for live and for some reason it always grabs the tuners in order 0-3 so it appears that it lacks the logic of the connect 4K in using tuners 2 and 3 for ATSC 1.0. I'll try some more tests later after everything stops streaming fo...

Re: which samsung TV support DRM over DNLA?

by the way for my tests, though you wouldn't have this issue, I looked at the log and my TA was acting up (first time in a long time since they switched to DSG) so I will look at it again when I know everything is working right as far as the prime goes.

Re: No "channels" option on my.hdhomerun.com

You will need to get to the tuner... the way my.hdhomerun.com works is by presenting a list of devices that have connected to it from the ip address your browser connected from and then reaching out to the devices in that list. Most common is usually your PC connecting via a different public IP that...

Re: which samsung TV support DRM over DNLA?

I don't have an N but an M and a T... my M which displays channels in the correct numeric order works with DRM but not if h.264 (recently in my market food and syfy switched to h.264 and most everything will switch by June). My T series doesn't seem to want to cooperate at all today. I got it to pla...

Re: No "channels" option on my.hdhomerun.com

Finding it hard to believe it isn't telling you how many channels you have when you are trying to remove some as the device should state the Name with ID, Firmware Version, and how many "Channels" which is what you would click. If for some reason that isn't there, just go to the device page and clic...

Re: Recordings from PC to Servio

I assume your main question is about "without popping the drive"and there isn't for the direction mentioned as there is currently no upload and even the other direction (download) I would do so if more than a couple of files due to the extremely slow (100Mbps) ethernet. As for not using a VM, if you...

Re: Samsung 7 Series App

The "folder" view is the DLNA interface that is built into most TVs and has been around for 8 or so years with the prime and then gen 4 or later models when they came out but as you stated no guide and not very user friendly... it works fairly well in a pinch for tertiary TVs but wouldn't want such ...
