Re: Black screen with "Audio only", etc.
We just confirmed and fixed an issue where you might get a black screen audio-only message when the broadcaster is sending multiple PMTs on the same PID. The situation is timing sensitive and not seen on all devices. I don't know if this is the problem you are experiencing but I would recommend inst...

Re: Recordings interrupted
The long shows the HDD is sometimes not writing data fast enough. There are repeated "Filesystem: wasync excessive lag" warnings and then the recording fails. The warning means the data is arriving from the tuner faster than the HDD is writing it to disk. Most of the time the HDD is keepin...

1) In the last bullet of the recent post I see that SiliconDust will "plan to offer" an ATSC solution that may "block the user from recording the channel" or "block the user from viewing the channel via their home network" among other concessions. Have I read this corr...

2. When scrolling through the guide, if I highlight a show that is currently airing live and select it, the options that come up are "Record this Airing" or "Record More". Can we have the option to just tune to the channel by default? If the program is currently airing live, the...

Re: HDHomeRun 4K is Nextgen TV Certified
So believe from a semi-recent post after meeting with the A3SA SD changed tack slightly to get a DRM approvable box into our hands by demonstrating the capability to the A3SA using a JAVA-enabled end point to view live DRM broadcasts to get a win in this space. Sorry if I butchered up the real plan...

Re: Sharpening?
That has to either be the TV or the FireTV Stick doing that (the HDHomeRun app invokes Fire TV hardware video decode).
Check the TV settings and set sharpness to 0, then check for any Fire TV settings.
