Re: Outlaw Channel not Scanning
Well there is another 10.6 for outlaw that is up so unless we know which market that may not be the case but I strongly suspect it is. I seem to recall a translator/repeater for KTTC didn't repeat all the subchannels it has.

Re: hdhomerun signal App
KRCR has (virtual) 7.1 which is abc, 7.2 which is TBD, 7.3 which is comet and 20.1 which is fox (at physical 7.3, 7.4. 7.5, and 7.6) the signal strength and quality will be the same for any of those channels when tuned to physical channel 7. I believe they are also on physical channel 34 carrying (v...

Re: Flex Duo Pixelating Badley and Voice/Video Not In Sync
What exact model of express as many only support 2.4GHz wifi (some are supposed to but only with certsin channels so some routers need to be manually configured to use only certain 5ghz channels or have features disabled as it gives the appearance of ) which often results in poor performance of mpeg...

Re: AppleTV App Cannot See HDHR-US
What about the other official app platforms... The HDHomeRun app on appletv is different than any of the other HDHomeRun apps but I believe it should work (unlike platforms such as roku which would be reliant on http streaming which the legacy device can't do) but I am not 100% positive if appletv d...

Re: Recording metadata - TPeterson
Yes you need the dvr engine running some place that has local access to that folder and set to look there as that is what serves the content to the app.

Re: Recording metadata - TPeterson
the app looks for a recording engine... the engine looks at folders it is told to look at in hdhomerun.conf file or registry.

Re: metadata - setting own ImageURL
only easily if such series or movie is airing in the next 2 weeks based on your channel lineup (assuming you have dvr access, not just utilizing an engine just to serve other recordings).

Re: metadata - setting own ImageURL
It used to work long ago but then I think the app changed to just get the image for the entire series rather than the image for the individual episodes and I believe that image for the entire series is obtained from retrieving the data for the series from SD, but there is a slight chance it may retr...

Re: SiliconDust
If one is used to the old site, I see that might give such impression as the consumer is just hdhomerun and then one has commercial, support, and buy. There us no choice to take one to another region to see what is there until in shop (buy).so I'm not sure what shows up in other regions pages but in...

Re: The first HDHomeruns ATSC 3.0
The kickstarter one is not a flex as it lacks a usb port to attach a hard drive so for dvr you would need another device to record to (flex, scribe, servio, pc, nas.. ) The other main difference is power supply as a flex may need a bit more to power that attached drive but a spinner should have its ...

Re: 2nd HDHomeRun Prime
You should ALWAYS get the card properly paired but with most areas of comcast using moto/arris cards, typically you will get all but the premium copy once channels without it being properly/fully paired in such markets but such can eventually cause other issues. In cisco/sa/technicolor markets I wou...

I won't directly say since its removal somewhat states we probably shouldn't be taliking about such but nickk had made a post that for me is on the start of page 2 and a few posts later someone had quoted that section.

Re: Samsung UN65KS8000 audio
I believe the k series should work with ac3 via hdmi... earlier models I wouldn't count on it but I know the m series does but i cant guarantee it in the k as that was released right around the time it changed. This typically only comes into play with most roku's (a modern ultra is often the excepti...

Re: Recording on NAS or USB drive
It can be a permissions issue but what does the status say? (should be pointing to the new location) and also look at what rikd mentioned which is something I missed that you said you did... the config file to be modified has to be the original one... not put someplace else. I would start out by mov...
