Re: How to limit the number of episodes of a particular show or have the HDHR Servio auto-delete older shows?

First up will be date-based trimming options. A number limit is going to be a little harder due to how the DVR works with multiple storage instances. Gotta get a little creative for how to handle that on the back end.

Re: Usability Issue - Buttons too Close - iPad App

I'm digging the idea for an invisible step forward/step backward button as two halves of the screen.

Re: Encryption

I'm not asking you or anyone else at SD to comment about another vendors product, I'm asking about your Flex 4K product. It has been over a month since the A3SA announced their specs and guidelines regarding 'networked/gateway' devices and when I and others asked for feedback from SD (Nick). I beli...

Re: Encryption

Not looking to move to Za$$erbox, just hoping something from SD will provide some sort of update on their progress If there is an update we are able to share with you, then we will share it with you. At no point would we just suddenly forget to tell everyone about some great progress on the most pr...

Re: Channel 4.2 COZYTV guide for "Mom" is wrong

I've opened a ticket for this request and I am being ignored. Ticket# 222229 Channel 4.2 (COZYTV) in Los Angeles, CA USA for the "Mom" series is wrong. If the guide & recording say Season 1, Episode 1, it's actually Episode 2. I've already provided my DVR serial #, so don't ask me aga...

Re: TV Station Launches Multiple 4K Broadcasts OTA on ATSC 1.0

Quality is based on the bit rate and resolution, not the encoding format (although there are good and bad encoders too). All our local ATSC broadcasts are full mux without sub channels and the quality is good, much better than lower bitrate h264 or mp2v on cable. Martin It's both. Video codec will ...

Re: Recording metadata - TPeterson

The DVR starts up and looks in the recording path(s) for video files with metadata. Those with the right kind of metadata get indexed.

Re: DVR on Synology NAS not seen by HDHomeRun tuner?

The NAS installer on Windows is a holdover from when we didn't have a Synology-specific installer. It can be ignored if you are using Synology (and some other brands).

Re: ATSC 3.0 Tuner now always displays Unable to play channel: No Video Data

What kind of antenna are you using? Do you have a picture of it or a product link for it? Is it amplified at all? The signal coming in looks very off.
