Tuning adapters are always slow. The HDHomeRun pulls a few tricks to speed up channel scanning with a conventional tuning adapter but these tricks don't work with the high-split adapters so it takes a long time.

Is the NAS set up with a manual IP address? If yes, you also need to enter the IP address of your DNS server (or 8.8.8.8 to use Google for DNS or 1.1.1.1 to use Cloudflare for DNS)

Something on the laptop asked the HDHomeRun to tune a channel and stream the full mux unfiltered.

Nothing told the HDHomeRun to stop so it kept doing its job.

There is definitely nothing there for 8.3:

My guess is this channel was picked up in an earlier scan before the antenna was moved.

Can you please try the HDHomeRun app on Windows again... enable "send diagnostic information" in the Settings menu.

Try the channel again then post back with the Device ID of your HDHomeRun.

20Mbps (19.2Mbps + UDP/IP overhead) is what you get if you take the full mux of a physical channel.

The HDHomeRun app doesn't do this but apps that use BDA drivers often do. It is possible for the stream to continue after the app closed if the app terminated without telling the HDHomeRun combined ...
