Re: Receiving "no tuner available".
What kind of antenna are you using? Is there an amplifier in use? The logs are showing very high signal strength across all frequencies, even frequencies that shouldn't have any signal on them.

Re: Channel Information ATSC3
The HTTP interface is intended for use by apps that are streaming video to watch or record, and therefore will return an error and close the connection if the channel cannot be streamed for some reason. You would need to tune using the hdhomerun_config command line program (or the libhdhomerun C lib...

Re: Chicago Finally, sadly DRM
Does 2.1 get found if you run a channel scan on the Channel Lineup page on your HDHomeRun's web page at http://hdhomerun.local/ ?

Re: Radio in Pahrump NV
Maybe, maybe not. Sometimes when they add new stuff to the broadcast, they put references to where the audio/video will be but don't actually start sending the actual streams immediately. It will just sit there not working for a while, the one day someone has time to finish up the rest of it and it ...

Re: Chicago Finally, sadly DRM
WBBM is the host broadcaster, so it's not technically low power, just VHF, though running at less power than most VHF broadcasts these days. They do have a permit to bump up to 30kW, but I'm going to assume that can't be done until the rest of the work on Willis Tower is done. Given how that project...

The logs indicate that a hardware failure has occurred. The device is out of warranty at this point, but we can offer a discount on a replacement. Please open a support ticket if you're interested, https://www.silicondust.com/support/trouble-ticket/ .

Re: Encryption
All HDHomeRun devices function as gateways, taking broadcast or cable TV and making it available to other devices over the network. Of course, only the models with ATSC 3.0 support (CONNECT 4K, FLEX 4K, SCRIBE 4K) matter to this particular discussion.

Re: Samsung 4K TV with Nvidia Shield blurry/stuttering on fast motion like sports
Is your Shield outputting 4K30 or 4K60? I used mine quite extensively for sports before it died and didn't see any issues with it running at 4K60.

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
There was a bug in the part of the DVR code that handles the communications between DVRs that is used to decide which one will make a particular recording.

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
This may not be the correct topic to post this question, but I figure I would start here. I am running two instances of this Docker container. One on my unRAID server, and the other on my Synology NAS. Both are running version 2.1.0 of the HDHomeRun DVR Manager, and Record Engine Version 20231020. ...

Re: no live tv, (no guide access)
I think the only way to get any further on this would be to get a packet capture of what is going in and out of the HDHomeRun when this is happening. Do you have a computer that has 2 network interfaces, either 2 wired or wired+wireless?

Re: no live tv, (no guide access)
During normal operation, approximately every 8 hours, the HDHomeRun connects to our server and sends in the data for the channels that are currently enabled on the device, and gets a key back from the server. If it is unable to communicate with the server for some reason, it retries about every 10 m...
