Re: XMLTV guide data
you should be able to concatenate all deviceauths (including that of the servio)... the servio/scibe doesn't get a subscription as they currently don't subscribe as they include a year of service that follows device not account (i.e if he sold the servio the rest of the year follows it)... the only ...

Re: XMLTV guide data
There are 3 ways one may have dvr service subscription, first is through kickstarter/beta purchase ($30 or higher ks, $60 beta prior to general release) whose year hasn't started yet. 2nd is when a year of service was purchase after release ($35, any $30 purchase of such would have expired) and 3rd ...

Re: User Guide to HDHR DVR 2.0
Have you tried looking at the instructions... https://info.hdhomerun.com/info/dvr:mac
If you scroll down to the advanced section you will see how to specify the engine to stop, modify the config, and restart the engine...
For windows you specify on install or you can edit the registry.

How are you trying to reach it? I believe there have been some fixes posted earlier in the thread (most generally post in that thread so demonrik (the author) gets notified ) but often one must access the page directly, not through the package.

Re: Support running multiple record engines as a pool
Your expecting too much... recordings "must" start on time as there is no late start (except at start of engine when it first comes up) and as such the recordings would be truncated (though an engine restarting may pick up in progress, or you might try poking another engine when it was dow...

Re: Synology SPK for DVR Record Engine
Do you have SD's dvr subscription... just want to make sure you are not talking about emby's. Most common issues not showing up on my.hdhomerun.com is lack of subscription or no StorageID in hdhomerun.conf (for most on a nas, this is written to by the engine but sometimes permissions don't allow suc...

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool
Personally for such, I would no longer have the share in the directory of the other... I used to do it this way without issue to archive things but it would also show "everything" twice when the other was running as an engine rather than just a share. (Note network shares in that manner ar...

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool
I have actually had "null" allow live tv in the past (my extra engines each have nullLiveTV as the path) but such behavior may have been fixed. I would like an option to prefer one for live tv while another for recording (i.e. a MaxLiveStreams setting) but most likely this would also need ...

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool
if i was to set RecordStreamsMax to >0 is there a way to set preferred first engine? i.e. i want to use my synology which is on the same GbE switch first I believe nickk stated it would generally use the one with most space... I can see that I also would like to set a preference and perhaps another...

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool
Along such notes, instead of moving content over, is a "null" entry first in the RecordPath to indicate a storage only engine still permissible? Would it be "better" to define 0 as the max stream limit (or was 0 for no limit)?

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool
Do all (updated) engines take into account what other engines have when it comes to determining if it has already been recorded?

Re: Linux Setup (Advanced)
Only other real option other than additional paths added to RecordPath (for playback only, not record as it records in first) would be Port=# where # is the port number to use to ensure it always uses the same port when it starts. What purpose do you want to use the RAM disk for live? You might try ...

Re: Synology SPK for DVR Record Engine
The engine records what it gets, though most likely it is an mpeg2 codec being used, the file is really a TS with a .mpg extension regardless of the codec used in the ts. If you are using OTA (in US/canada), you could get an extend which will transcode prior to the engine getting it. The most import...

Re: QNAP QPKG for DVR Record Engine
don't have a qnap here and generally don't use arm based linux (where I actually do things in linux, not when something like a nas comes with it) but can you report the results of file hdhr_wrapper_arm ldd hdhr_wrapper_arm as it may point to where the error is (the program itself seems to run for me...
