Re: HD HomeRun Program Guide Missing & Splitting channels?
My 2 cents: 1. Grid guide never gonna come. It has been discussed in the past million times. 2. If your ATSC 3.0 and 1.0 devices show different channel numbers, you can use 'This Channel' feature to record only on the channel of your selection. If they show the same channel numbers, you can de-selec...

Re: Google TV and HDHomeRun Tuners
So, that's just YouTube TV tab. Not the traditionally Live Channels

Re: Google TV and HDHomeRun Tuners
I think the thread OP may have been talking about totally different things, not the Chromecast with Google TV. No idea what he refers to, could be YouTube TV, not Google TV. There was a now defunct Google TV long time ago. No one should expect anything on that. Google Officially re-branded Android T...

Re: Content Protection Error.. Ticket #139433
Are any of them run in GSync or freesync mode, or running at higher refresh rate mode? I heard that can cause HDCP problem as well.

Re: Content Protection Error.. Ticket #139433
Good. Does the one runs HDHR app running standard video resolution? If it is anything close to 4K, does your video card support HDCP 2.2 or later? I'm just wondering there must be something that breaks HDCP.

Re: Content Protection Error.. Ticket #139433
Do you have multiple display attached? And if so, are they in duplicate mode or extended mode?

Re: Cox and DRM
Chromecast isn't going to cut it. You can try the new Chromecast with Google TV ($49) which is an Android TV streamer from Google that can run HDHR app and come with its own remote or you can use TV remote to control it. Also, with the current gen Sony TV, the Live Channels has been baked into the d...

Re: Windows 10 desktop partial install
There is no HDHomerun VIEW for win10. Store app is the only thing supported (and better than the VIEW).

Re: Cox and DRM
If you decide on Android TV (new Sony TV or Chromecast dongle) and prefer a grid-type channel guide, you can use Google's Live Channels app with your Prime. You still have to install HDHR app for DRM viewing inside the Live Channels app (the app also is hidden to Chromecast with Google TV now. You ...

Re: Cox and DRM
SD has an app for LG but not sure if DRM is supported. Check the LG thread here.
Sony is using Android TV. So HDHR app works on it with DRM support.
Vizio runs its own customized Android OS. There is no app for it.

Re: Cox and DRM
So there's no software apps we can use if we don't have Windows Media Center 7? Kodi? HDHR on another platform? Nothing? Any Google certified Android device using HDHR app. Windows 10 PCs using HDHR app from Windows store. Xbox Ones iOS devices and Macs but not tvOS device. All the above devices su...

Re: Cox and DRM
No, you are SOL because Amazon does not support the kind of Copy protection that can satisfy CanleLabs. DVR engine will automatically skip DRM channel. There is nothing you need to do there. You must use the devices that support DRM to watch these channels on live. No other options unless you have t...

Re: Cox and DRM
I meant for OP. Buy anyway, Apple TV does not support DRM yet. Fire stick or Roku will never support DRM.

Re: Cox and DRM
If Cox flag everything DRM, only HDHR app will play live TV on supported platform. No 3rd party software will be able to play it. No DVR either.

Re: HCDP Required
DRM channels require HDCP if it is connected digitally, e.g. DP, DVI or HDMI. The message just means some of your monitors don't support HDCP. I suspect the 1920x1200 ones are not HDCP compatible. Your video card driver should be able to tell you which monitor is HDCP capable. Some monitors will onl...
