Re: New Background

I have alwasy seen the HDHR UI as more practical than aesthetic, however the new background IMO does not seem to coordinated with everything else in the app and seems a little out of place. Would you guys be open to suggestions for menu color and backgrounds for the UI? Why yes we would! We thought...

Re: What is included in "Xbox remote control (and win10) button improvements)"

What works now: "Play/pause" works as you would expect "Rewind" / "fastforward" function the same as left/right (-10 seconds / +30 seconds) "Previous" / "Next" function the same as down/up (-10 minutes / + 10 minutes) "Record" should trigger a one-off recording of the currently viewed show on Live ...

Re: UI Disappears Recorded Playback

Please try in 20200304 (early access). I figured it out when it happens, doesn’t matter whether early access is turned on or off. If I use the arrows on my remote (PDP Talon) the UI shows up. If I use the media keys (skip buttons[x4] or record) then the UI doesn’t pop up. It does seem to show up wh...

What is included in "Xbox remote control (and win10) button improvements)"

I see there has been some progress in expanding the usage of buttons on Xbox (Win10) remotes, but I'm not sure which ones this includes. It looks like the record buttons now works, but does anything else now work? Maybe CC? I did notice that if I hit the record button on the PDP Talon with my Xbox w...

UI Disappears Recorded Playback

Often when watching recordings after skipping a few commercial breaks the UI stops showing up when skipping using the FF button on our talon remote with Xbox. Still skips, just no visible UI.

Re: New way to access your HDHomeRun device webpage

Works in IE, Chrome doesn't seem to know what to do and just does a Google search for hdhomerun.local. Interestingly enough the first link in the search is my.hdhomerun.com.

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC

We hit a complication - some of the buttons on the WMC remote do not result in any form of key event or notification in UWP apps. What about the buttons on the Xbox One media remotes like the PDP Talon? That's actually the main one we're testing against. In particular, cc and record buttons don't s...

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC

The HDHR folks have said they are working on the media center commands to get them working again in the HD app, but with all the other work they are doing, it seems that it's not at the top of the list of actions yet. We hit a complication - some of the buttons on the WMC remote do not result in an...

DRM recording is required feature and I understand why it may be very hard (vs when Microsoft did it originally with WMC in Win 7)
Yeah when MS did it, they only had to work with one OS which they fully controlled and are a much bigger company. Still took them three years to do it.
