Re: Windows 10 "Movies & TV"

That's the built-in UPnP/DLNA server on the HDHomeRun. Anything that supports DLNA should automatically detect the HDHomeRun and list the channels.

Re: Smithsonian Channel - wrong time zone

Appears to be the right device ID. I'll check to see if maybe the Pacific coast listing from Gracenote is somehow wrong as well.

Re: New Silicondust LTE Filter

The only way to test it is to have measurable LTE signals in the area and see if they significantly decrease or not with/without the filter, while not affecting the desired RF range. I guess you could use the HDHomeRun Setup utility and manually tune to such frequencies and use that to see if the LT...

Re: Constant Freezing

Re: Smithsonian Channel - wrong time zone

Is this when using the HDHomeRun app? We've manually mapped the Smithsonian channel to use the Pacific time zone feed. It was originally on Eastern time zone.

Fire TV/Fire OS won't install? Read this.

The version we submitted for the Amazon's app store does work, but it appears something has gone wrong on the Amazon servers for that copy. We are attempting to resubmit the app with the version number bumped in hopes that the "fresh" copy will work. You can also sideload (manually install) the curr...

Re: After Amazon fire cube TV update, now get “install failure”

Somehow the copy Amazon has appears to be bad. We will try resubmitting the app with a bumped version number. Until then, sideloading is the recommended workaround: https://www.aftvnews.com/sideload-apk-a ... ownloader/

Then use bit.ly/hdhrapp for the URL.

Re: HD HomeRun PRIME and Verizon FIOS - DRM Problems

No known issues with PRIME firmware at the moment. DRM issues tend to be something happening on the client side, such as location permissions not being set for iOS or Android, display hardware issues (bad cables, wrong monitor port, etc), old app version, etc.

Ah, I see now. My apologies, I was not considering DVB-C. I will ask the development team about this and see what they think.

Re: Request: Add reset to factory and Restart button in gui/web

There's not really anything to reset outside of the channel list.
