The Official Kodi Addon has a new home

Hi all, Kodi has new rules that require the addon to identify where it comes from. Since our dev thought it was a bit silly for it to be purely listed under his account, we've given it a new home here https://github.com/Silicondust/script.hdhomerun.view If you have any PRs, you may submit them again...

Re: EyeTV dead for me

I'd very much like to discuss the differences between the HDHomeRun app and EyeTV with any EyeTV users in a less formal setting, like on the phone or via live chat with the goal of seeing where the HDHomeRun app could better fit your needs. If any EyeTV users are interested in chatting, feel free to...

Re: 6 tuner prime soon !!!

How the question seemed to have been asked, and putting such in two groups, would not be possible as the device (firmware) would need to be complete if it supports cablecard at all (part of the certification testing). The firmware has nothing to do with the possibility of recording DRM protected co...

Re: 6 tuner prime soon !!!

I think the big one you are missing is working out software issues. That means handling DRM correctly, resolving stream errors, etc. That's the one that makes it so difficult to give a precise date. For example, we (aka people smarter than me) just dealt with an interesting issue where certain strea...

Re: HDHR-DVRUI - A PHP/Web Interface to your HDHR DVR Setup

I have looked at it - but to do so would need to add an instance of web server and php to the image. So if I was to do that, I think I'd create another github project for the container - and simply refer to this project to build the image. Thus keeping this project as clean as I could. Makes sense ...

Re: HDHR-DVRUI - A PHP/Web Interface to your HDHR DVR Setup

Out of curiosity, have you ever considered offering this as a docker image?

https://www.linuxserver.io/our-images

I've read that LibreELEC recently added support for installing docker images directly within the UI. It'd be pretty cool to have the setup all ready to go in a single docker install.

Re: Fire Stick 4k

I have been struggling with this as well. In my case I can't get a stream to work longer than about 7 hours even transcoding to H.264 through my Emby server. I am still testing, but so far it has been frustrating. I also have a Fire TV 2nd Gen box that I plan to hook back up to test with tonight. I...

So are we giving up on getting HDHR to work with this device? If so how does one go about enjoying my tuner and PVR service without it?

I hope the answer isn't to use Kodi because I don't like Kodi.
As mentioned, early solution is to go to software decoding. We're working on an update.

Re: HDHR-DVRUI - A PHP/Web Interface to your HDHR DVR Setup

Yup, definitely the list view. At the risk of asking for way too much, might even been neat to have the current view for mobile and the list view on PC browsers. :) Unfortunately, I don't think we have an API for listing past recordings. But I'm certainly not the most knowledgeable about the existin...

Re: HDHR-DVRUI - A PHP/Web Interface to your HDHR DVR Setup

Any chance you take design requests? Also, possibly a feature request. The design request is to show upcoming in a big long list of rectangles, rather than squares? So the design would be image -> List as already written image -> List as already written image -> List as already written etc. The othe...

Re: 6 tuner prime soon !!!

techpro, I'm merging your last two threads on this topic. Nothing substantial has changed between now and the 12th, when you created your first thread. Creating additional threads will not speed up development. It will just clutter up the forum. All that we can say right now is that we remain commit...

I think I said it before, but great work on this. I haven't installed it yet, but I'll probably give it a try sometime soon. Looks really perfect for the power users out there who want some tight mouse control.

Totally agree with pretty much everything listed. Any chance you'd be willing to reformart your post into a List? Perhaps we could start gathering various good ideas here for future fixing. One note, I'm not sure if we'll be able to do picture uploading. Imgur does a really good job with that alread...
