Re: Host ID Missing
Is the card inserted properly and detected? What do the logs say? Usually when I have seen people report this either the card wasn't detected or they got an old (single stream) s-card that won't work as one needs a m-card.

Re: ATSC3 Frequencies
Typically for "all" majors they will need (at least) 2 physical channels so another station will be needed and then convince "fox" to carry them (in HD if there isn't another major you are missing). For example here in Phoenix the cw station went to ABC's physical channel in HD, while it's subs went...

Re: ATSC3 Frequencies
They are the same tv frequencies but a different frequency from other stations.... I believe you previously mentioned Vegas and 563 would be physical 29 which was your cw station which moved the 1.0 feed to 13 to convert 29 to atsc 3.0

Re: ATSC 3.0: Tampa
Surprised you bothered with frequency rather than physical channel number, though many have other issues in the way their mind works that program number isn't always the virtual subchannel (i.e. here 10.1 would be tuned by ch10-3 and 10.3 would be ch10-4 rather than ch195000000-3 and ch195000000-4) ...

Re: select tuner number in URL
Nickk mentioned how to select the specific tuner but if I am understanding what you want, that won't work by itself as the tuner would be locked to the one device making the request, the next device would need to use another tuner. The "normal" way to do it is to have a "dvr" and it makes the tune r...

Re: Closed Captioning now default on in app
Sometimes on the tv versions of android tv are using passthrough (similar thing when someone posted recently of the opposite problem with LG app as the mute/volume is for the TV itself not what the app is sending out). Try pressing the up volume button on the status bar and/or turn off passthrough o...

Re: ATSC 3.0: Phoenix
I never had "real" issues with 8.1 (that I don't attribute to app in general) and certainly no slo-mo (right now it and 35 are only assigned to ATSC 3 to make things easier to test)... though in VLC I could see frequent stutters and it was almost cumulative in the HDHomeRun app as every few minutes ...

Re: HDHomeRun Prime compatible with new Cox upgrades?
By the way, if you got that letter, I believe you should be able to get (an additional) stb rental at no charge for a year (at least that is what my letter states) but you may need to "prove" that something you have doesn't work well with it and some csr's may argue needing to return cablecard (don'...

Re: Closed Captioning now default on in app
What platform? What is your sound like (how is it connected)?... it will automatically come on if device is muted (sound level of 0) and most using passthrough don't realize the sound level of the device as that doesn't control what actually plays the sound when done through passthrough.

Re: ATSC 3.0: Denver
Typically SD's software will use the device with lowest DeviceID first so yes disabling the channel on the 4K should work on its own (and any channel disabled on a device "can't " be used by SD's apps) or may not even need to be disabled. If you have SD's DVR engine available to clients it can take ...

Re: HDHR Prime won't get an IP address from router
Many years ago I had quite a few netgear gigabit switches fail to connect to the primes. In analyzing traffic I could see dhcp discover, offer, request but just before ack the port would drop to renegotiate speed... I do blame the switches as they did the same with a couple routers, another brand sw...

Re: LPF-608M LTE FILTER
Whether or not it improves anything depends on your particular circumstances. Like I said before, I always recommend an LTE filter for OTA tv particularly on the 4th and 5th gen models as it eliminates a source of potential issues and until recently one could get away with "any" lte filter as freque...

Re: ATSC 3.0: Denver
If you are talking about the virtual channel numbers in the 5000 range in the device, those are channels that were detected by the scan that don't have virtual channel numbers defined in the stream. There have been some atsc3 programs numbers in some markets that also are in the 5000 range but that ...
