Re: When will DRM recording be available???

IIRC, the H.264/DRM issue is an Intel driver issue, not WMC related. Most of the time when it is an issue that is correct but there are also a few comcast markets (not all Comcast markets) that encode h.264 in such a way that even changing video card doesn't help. If it isn't protected content one ...

Re: Servio and Scribe

How many HDHR Extend's can a Servio or Scribe handle at one time? The info on preorder stated Record upto 6 programs at a time from any HDHomeRun device and playback 4 recordings at the same time. Keep in mind like the recent tuners, according to sheets I've seen, its a 10/100 port not gigabit Edit...

Re: New UI - After hours of watching one channel, no slice guide data

I tried to reproduce this but couldn't the way OP described. In my case i left a channel on for over 8 hours (tried 12 and 20 as well as a few more 8's) however I did encounter the same behavior when I left it on Recorded or one of the others for similar times then went back to live.

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool

Personally for such, I would no longer have the share in the directory of the other... I used to do it this way without issue to archive things but it would also show "everything" twice when the other was running as an engine rather than just a share. (Note network shares in that manner are not supp...

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool

I have actually had "null" allow live tv in the past (my extra engines each have nullLiveTV as the path) but such behavior may have been fixed. I would like an option to prefer one for live tv while another for recording (i.e. a MaxLiveStreams setting) but most likely this would also need to be hand...

Re: Subtitles

In does in US/Canada which is what "CC" usually refers to ... most other regions use "subtitles" (not CC) and the official app does not support subtitles.

Re: Delete Recording with 20190516beta2

Thanks jasonl, you beat me to it... I set up an engine on a windows machine that I had wireshark running, put some content there, and saw the difference after testing deleting both ways... seems strange the other requests are still gets.

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool

if i was to set RecordStreamsMax to >0 is there a way to set preferred first engine? i.e. i want to use my synology which is on the same GbE switch first I believe nickk stated it would generally use the one with most space... I can see that I also would like to set a preference and perhaps another...

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool

Along such notes, instead of moving content over, is a "null" entry first in the RecordPath to indicate a storage only engine still permissible? Would it be "better" to define 0 as the max stream limit (or was 0 for no limit)?

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool

Do all (updated) engines take into account what other engines have when it comes to determining if it has already been recorded?

Yes as it would retrieve the 4 hour block when it starts.

Re: New UI - After hours of watching one channel, no slice guide data

To me that suggests it is still using the original 4 hours of data and what programs you had listed continued from within that 4 hour mark.

Re: New UI - After hours of watching one channel, no slice guide data

Though it could be a leak, typically such is one of 2 things. One issue is that the first set of data retrieved is a set for every channel for 4 hours. The other is that the DeviceAuth (key to access the data/dvr rules) typically change every 8 hours. I'm not sure when SD's app decides to recheck th...
