Re: Odd behavior first time opening slide guide.

Ned, thank you for responding to this thread. Good to know that someone is monitoring the forum. However, this slice guide mis-behavior has become a major annoyance. It is also happening not just on first across. It is happening frequently on multiple devices. I haven't heard anything about this bei...

Re: Odd behavior first time opening slide guide.

This is still happening. Might be my imagination, but seems much more frequently. Has become a major irritation. Any word on when a fix is expected? My wife is quite frustrated with this, which adds to my frustration as well. Thanks!

Re: Odd behavior first time opening slide guide.

Don't know how you can't see this and other issues with slice guide. It happens constantly,. Shield, MiBox, Firestick, Windows 10.

Re: Odd behavior first time opening slide guide.

For what it's worth, my standard channel Comcast lineup is edited to omit duplicates. I may have one or two channels that have since populated that need to be removed but otherwise my lineup is rather streamlined. I don't believe editing the lineup should be a suggested fix. Thanks for sharing your...

Re: Odd behavior first time opening slide guide.

This behavior has been happening for a long time now. The slice guide has been erratic and slow since the switchover to new UI.

For me this is very recent. It will restart when I turn on the tv or when Im in HDHomerun.
Try shutting down the firestick and then removing power from the stick. It seemed to work better doing that after it bombed out and I did that.

Re: Firestick random restarts

I've been using this firestick since may 2019. It has started restarting in the beginig of Janurary. I hadn't added any new apps to it. I reset it a week ago it only helped a little. Has anybody else had this issue? With the reset HDHomerun is the only app i installed on it. I was getting lockup/re...

Re: Odd behavior first time opening slide guide.

My wife just had a repeat experience. Was watching a live program and attempted to change channels by pressing up button on the remote and no channel was highlighted. Green cursor was on the Rew arrow of progress bar.

Re: Odd behavior first time opening slide guide.

This is happening again. Shield hdhr version 20200114g. Hit up on remote and rewind arrow on progress bar highlighted instead of slice guide. Couldn't arrow over to slice guide. Had to exit live and go back in to get to the slice guide, with up on remote. Thought I saw that this was fixed. hmm...

Re: Slices do not consistently show same timeslot

Win10 20191209/20200104 If I open a slice to let's say 10AM and arrow up/down through the channels, I expect all slices if they have 10AM to display that time otherwise if there's no 10AM it should show the next timeslot (10:30, 11:00, etc) and when continuing up/down the slices it should still try...

Losing last position of recording...

I have had several occasions on my Shield lately, when I have exited from viewing a recording, and then go back in later, it has lost its memory of where I left off. Sometimes it shows up as about 1/4 of the way through (when I had left off near the end), and sometimes starts back at the beginning. ...

BUG(S). Freezing App.... last recording

It has been an issue for quite a while that after you delete the last recording of a show, the icon remains in the list of recorded shows for a while. However, I have seen on both Shield and Windows 10, if you click on the remaining icon (after you've deleted the last show in the series and it's com...

Re: Odd behavior first time opening slide guide.

Slice guide still same problems. 20191219c.
Happens on initial entry into live. Win 10, MiBox, Firestiy. All the same. You hit up on remote, slice guide channel not hilighted. Cursor winds up highlighting rewind arrow. Merry Christmas! Sorry to be a Grinch.
