Re: Nickk - Please Confirm Credit Due to Channel Issues.

So I just signed up for Premium TV. I didn't realize that these channels were missing immediately because I had last looked at a channel line up some months ago. I looked through the forums and see that SD is working on getting those channels back. I will hold off on cancelling my ***** TV account ...

Re: Getting Started with Wifi

Hi,

Wifi is good for client devices to watch TV from a HDHomeRun. We recommend the HDHomeRun unit itself is connected to your home router/network via an Ethernet cable.

Re: HDHomerun View overscan and channel entry questions

Question regarding the channel input issue...is HDHRView even written to induce a channel change if it detects a numeric keypress? Or am I always going to have to bring up the right-side channel list, then get to the direct-entry box at the top before *any* numeric entry would be recognized? You ca...

Re: HDHomerun View overscan and channel entry questions

HDHomeRun has no settings for overscan, but you should be able to compensate in Android settings.
FYI - the HDHomeRun apps have a setting to compensate for overscan.

But if it can be fixed in the TV settings that will fix things for all apps.

Re: TBS absolutely atrocious - ACraigo

You may be pushing, but so far it has done nothing to "fix the glitch".
With a bit of back and forth we identified the exact setting and what it needs to be set to. They say they are waiting on their transcode equipment vendor to review before they make the change. Just fix the setting!

Re: HDHomeRun DVR Linux?

Hi, We dully support Linux on x86, x64, and ARM platforms. Some PPC platforms are also supported. The Raspberry Pi hardware isn't well suited to running a hard drive. I have just started playing with an Asus Tinker-Board which is similar to a Raspberry Pi but a lot more powerful. Still USB 2.0 howev...

Re: A&E Wrong Time Zone

Can you please restart your HDHomeRun units - they should pick up your location correctly now.

If you are using the HDHomeRun DVR you will need to restart that a minute or so after the HDHomeRun units have been restarted.

Looks like your location auto-detected as AZ instead of TX which switched things to the Pacific feed.

Re: HDCP required error

Hi, To watch protected content you need at least one digital connection to a monitor, and all digital connections to monitors must do HDCP. If you are only using VGA cables you won't be able to watch protected content. If you have multiple monitors with digital cables (HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, etc) m...

Re: When did guide fees start?

As a Kickstarter supporter you have DVR.

If you are setting things up again you need to associate your HDHomeRun with your DVR account... I will PM you your activation details.
