Re: Servio -- Any way to view recording logs

Each recording should be logged - go to http://my.hdhomerun.com/ and click on your SERVIO, then System Menu, Log.

Re: HDHR App Blown to hell since last update

The text glitch when scrolling is being actively worked on. We expect it to be solved this week.

This glitch was first reported last week and is minor - the workaround is to wait a second for the screen to redraw properly.

Re: Are newer HDHR boxes better?

Hi,

The gen5 has different demods and improved small signal performance. Generally the performance is similar except for very weak signals where gen5 out performs.

Re: PLEASE go back to old UI until this is ready - BillSili

All my Samsung tablets display guide like this... wrong channel displayed and extraneous guide data on the left while scrolling. We reproduced the problem with the text over picture on the left while scrolling rapidly. While it will be fixed, the workaround is to simply wait about 1 second for it t...

Re: No Devices Found - Ubuntu 18.04

Hi,

The first thing to check is that subnet mask on your Ubuntu machine is correct. If the subnet mask is wrong it won't detect.

Just tested a Galaxy 8+ which worked correctly.

What specific Samsung devices are you seeing this problem on?

Re: Anyway to reset the software?

We are here to help. The best thing to do is to pick one problem you are seeing, preferably one which can be reproduced, and go into detail so our team can trace it through. If it traces back to an account problem we will then make sure it is addressed so nobody else experiences the same problem. Yo...

Re: Wrong language AVC HD

Clarifying - the language selection is an app feature, not a firmware feature. The firmware always sends all languages to the app.

Re: Firewall appliance breaks Live TV

Simple HTTP connection made by the client to the HDHomeRun, HDHomeRun port 5004 (rather than port 80). The HTTP data being transferred is infinitely long.

Re: Firewall appliance breaks Live TV

The client log shows it worked for a short while, then went 10 seconds without getting data. At this point it closed the connection and tried again. The tuner log shows it was streaming video, then the client closed the connection. It isn't conclusive but a firewall between the two could cause that ...

Hi,

Clarifying - when did you experience this problem of recordings not showing, and when did you reboot the device which resulted in them showing?

Re: How dynamic is it?

I was just curious how dynamic the HD HomeRun system really was: If I have: 4x tuners 1x Servio - Then the Servio can record up to 4 shows at once. - If I add another 2x tuners then the Servio can record 6 shows at once What if I add another 2x tuners after that? Does the Servio take 6 tuners for i...

Re: SERVIO+PRIME recording corruption/stuttering?

You have diagnostic logged enabled going back to the 6th (UTC time). It doesn't look like the unit has been rebooted in that time.

When did you experience this problem, and with what TV shows?

Re: HDHR App Blown to hell since last update

We are not tracking any issues like that... can you please do a quick screen-record or camera phone video of the win10 app showing the problem you are seeing.

It would also help to know what HDHomeRun hardware you have and if you have a record engine.

Re: HTTP stream by specifying a filter of PIDs

The HDHomeRun supports custom PID filtering via the libhdhomerun protocol.

If you can describe what your planned usage is I can raise the feature internally.
