Re: EDL/ComSkip discussion

I'm guessing at current it's impossible to automate the use of EDL files on a Scribe or Servio device? Any type of processing would have to be done manually right? Obviously I could put EDL files in a shared directory that is not a part of the Scribe or Servio, but I'm guessing I'd have to manually...

Re: Signal Strength on ALL channels

When you put in the device id don't include the special characters <>. Just use the numbers and letters.

You might be able to import the data into a spreadsheet and create a graph but I never tried doing anything like that.

Re: Signal Strength on ALL channels

hdhomerun_config.exe is in the C:\Program Files\Silicondust\HDHomeRun folder on my Win7 PC.

Edit: If you don't have it installed I believe it's included in the "HDHomeRun Software for Windows" available here:https://www.silicondust.com/support/downloads .

Re: Signal Strength on ALL channels

You can use the hdhomerun_config command line utility to run a channel scan and save the results in a text file. hdhomerun_config <deviceid> scan /tuner0 filename.txt The report looks like this: SCANNING: 587000000 (us-bcast:33) LOCK: 8vsb (ss=70 snq=71 seq=100) TSID: 0x09C3 PROGRAM 1: 57.1 WPSG PRO...

Stucco is worse than a brick wall if it has metal netting behind it.

Re: Color space test #1

I tried it on my Shield and I can see the flashing bars in the white area below 234 and in the black area above 22. My contrast settings are probably skewing the results but I'm happy with those settings.

If It's not too late to add suggestions I'd like to have an option to re-record previously deleted episodes.

Re: EDL/ComSkip discussion

I can post what I have later tonight. It works well as is, but I've been trying to figure out how to limit the number of titles it can process at the same time. Right now I can have Comskip either run on one recording at a time or multiple recordings all at the same time. I'd like to be able to run ...

Re: Unofficial Kodi HDHomeRun DVR PVR Client

If anyone has an opinion on this or knows that changing it will break your setup, please let me know. I really don't want to mess anyone up. I think it's safe to drop ARMv5. The Cortex line started with ARMv6 in 2004. I doubt any ARM device older than that would be able to run Kodi. https://www.wik...
