On my computers connected to my HDHomeRun, 17.8.2 was required to get HDCP to work (and DRM). I fixed the artifacts in the office apps by disabling hardware graphics acceleration (Options, advanced, display). Seems to be a known issue...

Might be one more thing to try... ;)

Opps...Me bad.....it is WHQL...I initially clicked on the 17.8.2....for which is not WHQL I am going to install the 17.7.2 and see if this fixes the DRM, that I had working after installing the MS DVD player, then lost DRM today.... Nuts..... :shock: I had to go to 17.8.2 to get DRM working... Howe...

To Aveamantium, Are you sure the 17.7.2 drivers are WHQL ? I checked about a week ago and did not see anything on AMD's download page that states it is WHQL? Actually I just checked, and Neither the 17.7.2, or the latest 17.8.2 is WHQL certified... The download file I have for 17.7.2 is called the ...

Oh...one other change that may or may not have anything to do with it working now. I upgraded my AMD drivers to 17.8.2. There was a fix in 17.8.1 for HDCP... I have not yet applied it since it wasn't WHQL, but I'm guessing the fix is included in 17.8.2. See below Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edit...

Updating to the AMD 17.8.2 driver fixed DRM for me...

Not sure what the issue is as my Living Room PC started to play DRM again a few days ago (after reloading windows it couldn't initially) for no apparent reason. Just tested the "Late Show" on my workstation (16GB) and HDHomerun instantly jumps to using all 16 GB of Ram, slowly drops to 3GB then shoots back up to 16GB, repeatedly...
