Re: Specific show stopped recording?
Here's a WAG (and if you don't know what that means, never mind). The actual title of the current CBS series is "Magnum P.I." It's possible the periods are being misinterpreted by the Servio's software/firmware. If so, it should happen to everyone trying to record that show with a Servio. BTW, the o...

Re: Signal in Bangkok Question
The channel setup menus on most TVs will tell you which channels are analog and which are digital. But you said in an earlier post that there are "many channels that are static." If you mean that you see "static" interference, a.k.a. "snow," then they're analog. Digital channels can't show snow unle...

Re: ConnectDuo does not work with my antenna amplifier, what to do?
Almost certainly the amplifier is sending too strong a signal to the HDHR, but if the signal is too weak without it then you should keep the amp connected but add an attenuator. First get a 2-output splitter and feed one output to the TV to see if it still gets the channels well. The splitter will d...

Re: HDHomeRun UK Tuning
I'm not sure why the Welsh channels are selected. The resolution should be the same (I believe this is only an issue with SD channels, however it's hard to check when HDHomeRun doesn't provide the channel frequency!). If you're running Windows and you installed the HDHomeRun Software for Windows (n...

Re: No picture/audio with good signal
Since you're talking about an ATSC 3.0 channel in Seattle, you might want to follow that thread. Especially starting with viewtopic.php?p=369793#p369793. Others are seeing the same problem, so it's on the broadcast end.

Re: AC-4 Audio?
For those who don't want to build from source, you can download the Windows binaries from my DropBox account here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eene7ecard5xkij/ffmpeg-ac4.zip?dl=0 I tried to download from that link but all I got was a blank page. So I changed ?dl=0 to ?dl=1 and that gave me the downlo...

Re: Is now a good time to pick up the HDHR5-4K?
I wouldn't buy any ATSC 3.0 tuner until at least one station starts broadcasting that in my area. Even then I'd first want to be able to play its H.265 video and AC-4 audio as conveniently as I can now play ATSC 1.0's MPEG-2 video and AC-3 audio. Many devices can play the video now but few can play ...

Re: ATSC 3.0: Seattle / Tacoma - Dec 15th launch
So how many HEVC channels should we be receiving right now. I see some folks are saying they're getting channels 5, 13, and 22-1 in HEVC in addition to 4 and 7. I'm only getting 4 and 7 in HEVC. Don't understand why everyone isn't receiving the same channels in HEVC whether they work or not. Accord...

Re: First Post - wishes for HDHomeRun Software
I received the Quatro about 3 weeks ago. The tuner finds 75+ of OTA stations with an antenna & 60+ on my RV resort's Dish Cable QAM system. As predicted, getting a program guide for the QAM stations is problematic. Some guide services have guides for Dish Cable systems. Maybe yours is included. But...

Re: HDhomerun Config GUI settings
I'm using my Extend with Plex and in the HDHomeRun Config GUI there is a setting for transcoding: Native, Heavy, Mobile, Internet540(480/360/240). I'm a real novice when it comes to all the technicalities of video, so can someone explain the implications of these settings? I copied the following de...

Those who want to see what the current version of TSReader (2.8.55, 8/28/2019) can do with ATSC 3.0 without having to buy or upgrade it can download the free version, TSReader Lite . Of course a number of the paid-version features are disabled, such as the ability to change RF channels without exiti...

Re: What can you do with the hardware without a subscription?
HDHR-VCR runs on Windows and needs no subscription. Recordings can be scheduled in VCR fashion by setting channel, start time and either end time or duration, or it will work with TitanTV. It works with the non-DVR HDHRs; I have no idea if it can be used with the DVR ones but probably not.

Re: HDHR-US not getting channels since 20200225 update
I was looking around last night to try and find where I could download the firmware images and try to downgrade manually, but I wasn't finding any information on that. You can download older firmwares from the same location as the current one (listed under "HDHomeRun Software for Linux"). Just chan...

Re: HDHR-US not getting channels since 20200225 update
Signcarver recommended checking the power supplies and the easiest way to do that is to replace one at a time with a known-good one with the same voltage (5.0 vdc), the same or higher current capability (1 A or more) and the same size plug. You have at least one of those: the supply for your HDHR3-C...

Re: First Post - wishes for HDHomeRun Software
3. Pls clarify this whole ATSC 1.0 vs 3.0 issue. I get Phoenix TV stations. I don't know if 1.0 can be selected if 3.0 audio doesn't work, etc. I found a Phoenix channel scan in the forum, but I'm not clear what it all means. Currently only one HDHR model can receive ATSC 3.0 broadcasts and it's th...
