Re: prime 6

The rough ambitions were to release at the end of 2018, and for various and sundry reasons that didn't happen. They've already said they aren't going to announce any other timeframe until they're at a point where they know they can hit it, so figure that the first real word you hear will be when th...

Re: prime 6

Nothing has been submitted to CableLabs yet. Any tweak to the hardware would restart the process and add a ton of cost. Everything has to be checked, triple checked, get all our ducks in a row, for a PRIME product. Hopefully once you do the submission you’d let us know? I'm pretty sure that's the p...

Re: prime 6

Seriously... if it's dead let us know. If there's any actual development ongoing, tell us. If it's held up due to some legal issue, let us know that too. Providing information shows concern for your customers. Giving your customers the silent treatment when you've had customers literally waiting ye...

Re: prime 6

I think it merits the question once again if the product is actually being actively developed. The answer is usually a political "yes". Meanwhile, several products have come to fruition in its stead.

Re: Shield Pro Audio

One other special case - rare but some TV channels encode stereo content as the L and R channels of 5.1, other channels silent. A home theater system will normally up-convert stereo but in this situation the audio is encoded as 5.1 so you just get L and R without the expected up-conversion. The HDH...

Re: "Breaking News" Option?

I would love for them to improve the recording process on many levels. The app seems to assume that you either want to watch something OR search for something. Not both.

Re: When the Prime 6 comes out, how many are you planning on getting

^ I currently pay $110 after taxes to Comcast on a 2 year contract - for TV and internet. I feel that cord shaving offers way more value than cord-cutting unless "spite" holds as much value as you place in it. I've looked at it and and cord cutting isn't a lucrative option for me. I challenge that i...

Re: A/V Sync

Is there a reliable way to test the audio/video sync of your app? It seems to off. On what device? Easiest might be to try watching the same content/channel in a different app on the same device (i.e. Kodi or VLC). You could also have it playing on your device and simultaneously watch it through VL...

Re: Recorded TV UI request

Currently watching Chicago PD and I went to sort the episodes and they're not in perfect order. S04E04-05-06-08-07. Episodes 7 and 8 are tans-versed. Obviously no big deal but not what one would expect from a sorted list.

Re: Stargirl

While this post is very relevant to the product, I would love it if there was a more casual place here for us to chat. A place where we can discuss TV shows and equipment and whatever else. I know this isn't that kind of forum but there's obviously a fan base with some common interests here.

Re: New Blue Theme ... like it

I love it. Blue looks waaaaay better, to say the least. One thing: can you make the right of the progress bar so it's white? or Black? ...just not blue. The shades are way too close to each other.

Thank you for changing UI color. Wtf took so long? Nevertheless, keep up the improvements.

Thanks. Maybe I'll check it out sooner then later. DVRMST and SA is definitely a complicated solution.

Re: Feature Request: Commercial Skipping

One thing lacking from HDHomerun DVR software is the ability to skip commercials. Is a planned feature that will be added in the near future and if not is there a timeline when it might be added. This is one of the quirks that is keeping me from using the stock software. I'm sure this can be accomp...
