Re: HDTC-2US not detecting stations

Thank you both for the suggestions. Here is what little I can report. → I checked a couple of tuner logs. In July there is an entry, “20170715-00:57:33 Recording: 1052185A lineup request success (found 54 channels)”. Today there is an entry, “20171020-00:09:39 Recording: 1052185A lineup request suc...

Re: HDTC-2US not detecting stations

If using chrome or internet explorer is not seeing the tuner via My.hdhomerun then pull the power on the router an wait 30 seconds and plug back in. [setting IP reservations on the router for the TV related items is advisable] If that is of no help open HDHR Setup and on the Advanced tab enable send...

Re: Advise on a new home setup

Thanks again for the informative reply. you are boss! I asked around the office for xbox 360s - and lucky me .. 3-4 people are giving me theirs. Although they said that their xbox doesn't have an HDMI port (perhaps it uses a hdmi converter). Would that be an issue with DRM content? Sorry - I'm a PC...

Re: Incorrect Guide Data

My guide data has added channels I don't get and dropped some that I should get. What should I do? I have HDHR Prime with DVR, Windows 10. Comcast, Muncie, Indiana Make sure you have send diagnostics on the Advanced tab in HDHR Setup. Then run the scan. If the lineup isn't right supply your tuner i...

Re: Advise on a new home setup

So throwing you more... Thank you for the really detail reply! It has been very informative and now I have a little bit of better understanding on how this works. Also, after looking at the house again, the final count of TVs are 5. 1 of the 5 will only have the Verizon STB. The other 4 will have HD...

Re: No DVR Configured

viewtopic.php?f=126&t=20613 The 0930 reference will not change. You would have to go into the list of programs to see the beta reference.

Re: DLNA TV that support HDHR

The Sony 43" X800E is $650. Just on the power cost being less than half that of the Element I would go with it. Neither are know for great off angle viewing but I would bet the Sony has better up convert. Would venture a guess that the Sony has more calibration potential. I doubt you would see the t...

Do any of these tv's (Fire, Element, or Sony, etc.) support DRM channels?
No, Android TV does not at this time.

Re: Advise on a new home setup

Hi All! First time posting in this forum hoping someone can help provide the best advise on what I plan to do soon. Apologies in advanced as this will be a long post. I'm also very new to this and although I did my own research, I'm afraid I might have misunderstood a lot of things. I recently boug...

Re: Some channels missing after scan - Verizon Fios

For Verizon, you should post on the Verizon Direct forum on DSLReports rather than calling. The people who monitor the forum know what they're doing. The people on the phone, some do, some don't. The forum is available at https://secure.dslreports.com/forum/vzdirect . Posts made to that forum can on...

Re: DLNA TV that support HDHR

How big and how much is "outdoor" cheap? I believe a new 43" 4K Elements Fire TV is $450. That would give an advanced experience with built in Fire TV and access to HDHR DVR or just the free app for viewing live tv.

Re: Unable to play channel error

I suggest you try setting up IP reservations for the devices in the system on the router and power cycle the router and test. If you have not already set reservations.

Re: TVs with Native Support?

Yes the fire tv system is built into the Element TV [4 sizes one model] just like Android TV is built into Sony. The 930 will [if it has not already] add support for Dolby Vision and HLG HDR where the 900 will not. The 900's in general are impressive and the 930 is a great tv when your looking at 65...
