Re: Remote Control recommendation

The harmony 650 is my choice 1 remote for everything. Uses regular AA batteries that I replace with rechargeable ones. Several sets one on the charger and never without a remote due to batteries. Course you could do that with any AA or AAA remote. The re-chargeable batteries last about a month. Bou...

Re: Remote Control recommendation

Windows 10 client using HDMI to TV. I use a Harmony 650 to open/control my TV, Shield [used pc in past] and sony audio system without a flirc. Some use Harmony Hub and phone or tablet. Yeah that would work as long as his Windows Client has an IR receiver or Bluetooth..... but if you have neither yo...

Re: Remote Control recommendation

Windows 10 client using HDMI to TV.
I would get a FLIRC and program any IR remote. The FLIRC works with any IR remote. I found this to be the cheapest option until you decide if you want to control other devices like a soundbar etc...

Re: Remote Control recommendation

Re: DTCP first-authorization problem

Are you using any adapters like cec or display port to hdmi or going thru a receiver with your hdmi cable. Also try connecting to another hdmi port on you tv and set the computer display setting to 1080 60 hz. Like gtb think the 2.2 negotiation may be failing and trying a 1.4 port may solve the pro...

Re: Unofficial Kodi PVR Client for HDHomeRun DVR subscribers

First off! Thank you so much for this PVR! I can't imagine trying to use HDHomerun thru Kodi without. I just last night started running into issues with your PVR add on playing channels. Everything was working great before. I was happy as a clam! Even my wife was happy as can be, lol. Then last nig...

Re: Windows 10 Kodi & Recording

I run Windows 10 and Windows Media Center is not available under Windows 10. I use Kodi 17.1 frequently and would prefer to use it with OTA TV using HD Home Run Connect. However, I also want to use the DVR subscription capability. Can I fully use the DVR subscription capability while using Kodi 17....

Re: Sound Issues

While my live tv video and sound is good, when I play my recordings, the sound cuts out intermittently. It seems to happen on all recordings.
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix the problem?
You did not state what Clients you are using ?

Re: Latest update notes and play all feature

Is there any notes on what the latest xbox app fixed or enhanced as well as the latest software? You would have to go into the Changelog and start at a dateline from where you last were here to see all the updates but currently AC3 pass through has been activated https://forum.silicondust.com/forum...

Re: $35 annual fee question

Okay so HDHomeRun View is free, including the guide But the DVR portion is what you pay for. Exactly what am I paying for (support)? If their software works, why would I need to pay for software support? Remember you are also paying for 14 days of guide data the Free Guide only does 24 hours. Don't...
