I believe there is also a setting in the PVR addon to set genres. Make sure to clear guide data it will repopulate.

Is it possible to change the way the recorded shows are named? My shows are usually named as follows: Name of show S02E17 19720121 [20190222-1730]. I was able to sideload KODI with the unofficial Addon and it plays all channels just fine.

In KODI Settings/Player I disabled Allow hardware acceleration both MediaCodecs.
