I have not noticed CBS being encrypted at all. I don't get sound, but I get a video output on 3.0.

Off topic here, are you able to consistently pull in the ATSC 3.0 stations? I hit a No Video Data error quite frequently when tuning in. Once tuned, it runs perfectly smooth, but getting it to tune is a PITA sometimes.
