It is my understanding that once the unit is cabled to the router that all TVs will connect via wireless with no coax needed?
Correct, just download the HDHR app on the other TV's.

I didnt think you could do that outside of your network. ????
With the Channels App you can. It is a separate download that will find your HDHR device. Works well with Apple TV

Hey Dan, I too am experienced at life (old) and recently purchased the HDHR. It was very easy to setup on my Mac, I had it up and running in about 10 minutes. Instead of the HDHR guide/DVR I opted for the "Channels App", plenty of youtube videos explaining it. What I like about the channels app is ...

The Hartford stations have spotty coverage in your area due to the line of hills to the north of you blocking direct line of sight to the broadcast towers. The signal you get is likely diffracting off the edge of the hill and bending down to you, and this greatly weakens the signal and also can ...

Thank you signcarver. The antenna is brand new so there is no attenuation at the base, not sure about the antenna itself. I tried unplugging the amp and that sometimes helps the ATSC 3.0 channel but not enough to hold the channel. Watching now (dark outside) and the channel is holding with no issues ...
