Re: New HDhomerun tuner setup issue
Looking at it now...
You said your could access the HDHomeRun via 169.254.174.1 correct?
Edit - did you run the packet capture on your router or on a PC on your network? The IPv4 header checksum is blank. If you ran the capture on your router then this is normal due to IP checksum offloading. If ...

Re: New HDhomerun tuner setup issue
Every minute it keeps trying to get an address, I can see it in the logs. It just won't accept the address it's being given. Any other thoughts?

Re: New HDhomerun tuner setup issue
I can try that.
Re: the router, there hasn't been an update in months so I don't think so.
Is there a way to reset the hdhomerun and try to get it to grab a new IP address? Is it just unplug it and plug it back in?

Re: New HDhomerun tuner setup issue
Yes, the hdhomerun.local page gives me a 169.254 address, my range set by my router is 192.168.xxx
I had a connect from a presale, maybe it was kickstarter, 5-6 years ago? A couple days ago it did this exact thing, I could no longer see it on the router. I just figured it had kicked the bucket so I ...

Re: New HDhomerun tuner setup issue
So where do I find that IP address? I’m not seeing it in my router and when I go to the myhdhomerun page it gives that link local address.

New HDhomerun tuner setup issue
Hello - was trying to setup my new 4k Flex tuner today and it's getting a strange, outside the range, IP address. is there a reason it's doing this? Was something set internally at the factory by any chance? This isn't happening with any other device on my network. Thanks.
