Re: Native HDHomeRun App DRM playback.

Thank you! I understand now. I forgot there is more than one DRM product. I use to use the Prime myself.
But comcast never used DRM in my area so I had access to everything.

Native HDHomeRun App DRM playback.

Ok I am under the belief that DRM playback is not possible currently with HDHomeRun hardware.
But I also was told by Google's gemini this.

📱 Apple iPhone & iPad — DRM Workaround Available
Your iOS and iPadOS devices can successfully decode and play your locked-out ATSC 3.0 channels.

Re: Compatibility of FLEX 4K with ATSC 3.0 DRM Channels in Chicago (CBS/NBC/FOX)

Only one device that I know of, but it's not a true gateway device like the HDHomeRun.
********* but it does not allow you to view content on any mobile device or laptop.
You have to connect it HDMI to a TV and that's the only way you can view it is on a TV.
You can get another receiver to add it to ...

Re: New Channel Notification

Are you talking about the HDHomerun App notifying you?
I am using ChannelsDVR and can at least see the channel number count.
Say like I see its at 122 channel, if I see 124 I know two channels are added.
But in the HDHomerun App in setting under channels it doesn't even show channel count there. So ...

Re: Two broadcasters using the same Virtual Channel in San Francisco Market.

Guide Data from https://kofytv.com/tv-schedule/ is different Than what Estrella TV is showing.
When English programming is on the channel the Estrella TV. guide data isn't correct, neither is the https://kofytv.com/tv-schedule/ data.

One of the reasons I thought maybe its because the information on ...

Re: Two broadcasters using the same Virtual Channel in San Francisco Market.

I believe when I seen the difference it was in the transition.
Dr Phil didn't match up to the guide data.
https://kofytv.com/tv-schedule/

And at the time Estrella TV logo was not even on the KOFY site. Now it is.
My HDHomeRun was mapping to RF 21 for channel 20.1 then it started mapping to RF 32 ...

Solution for Two broadcasters using the same Virtual Channel in San Francisco Market.

That damn AI is getting too smart. I didn't think to ask gemini until now and it figured out a way I can bypass the device mapping.
This solution is for HDHomeRun user that are also using ChannelsDVR server or those that want to view with VLC or similar streaming viewer.
I know the RF channel I want ...
