Re: Signal Strength App
The port is configurable through an environment variable at run-time. Is that not working?
I'm using Unraid, maybe the configuration settings are different? I'm attaching a screenshot of the Update Container screen, what would I need to do to configure the appropriate environment variable ...

Re: Signal Strength App
For the Docker hub container, any chance it could be updated so that the port number can be configurable?

Re: Signal Strength App
Run it in docker somewhere on your network (like a Raspberry Pi) and then you can tune from anywhere.

Re: Encryption
Maybe the happy compromise solution is if the FCC requires a primary non-DRM encumbered "channel" from every major network. Then they can have their way with DRM on secondary channels and do what we all know will eventually happen if DRM remains a requirement, which is to monetize content in the ...

Re: Signal Strength App
Just added an antenna mode that shows graphs of signal/snr strength for all tuners at once. Should help a lot when trying to find the right position for your antenna.

Re: Signal Strength App
I have Android devices that work in the Android ecosystem, so I have been missing the HDHomeRun Signal app. I vibe coded the following to fill the gap. Run it in docker somewhere on your network and then you can tune from anywhere.

Re: Encryption
Just taking a step back and looking at things at a very high level... With the recent news about The Late Show being cancelled due to declining revenue due to declining OTA viewers (true or not, doesn't matter), and some evidence showing such, it's hard to imagine anyone thinking, "You know why ...

Re: Encryption
The app doesn't work at all without internet, DRM or not. Some of the core components are apparently cloud reliant.
I am lost, as usual. What "app" are you talking about?
The HDHR player/frontend app. It requires internet to work.
Wow, I just tried it and you're right. Still, I can ...

Re: Encryption
I'm torn. I both want and don't want SiliconDust to release a working DRM-decryption version on Android. On the one hand, I would love to watch the encrypted channels, even if it only works within the Android app for now. On the other hand, doing so relieves the frustration of it not working, which ...
