I'm seeing 100% on strength, quality, and symbols for KNXV-NG and KASW-NG, but no video. The HDHR Configurator says "(no data)" for these channels. Are you getting usable video?

AC-4 Audio?
Hi - I noticed that AC-4 was mentioned in the "Video but no sound" https://forum.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=133&t=74253 topic. Is all ATSC 3.0 audio encoded in AC-4? If "yes", how can I play audio? AFAIK, I don't have an AC-4 decoder on my PC. My Onkyo TX-RZ730 doesn't support AC-4, either.

Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
Hey, thanks, Nick! I wasn't actually expecting an answer ... it was mostly a joke.
It's nice to actually see the shipment progress in (somewhat) real time. Thanks for the great support!

Dang, that's pretty cool!trakz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 12:09 pmhttps://www.vesselfinder.com/Is there a FlightAware equivalent for shipping routes?
All we need now is a container ship Name, MMSI, or MMO (hint, hint) and people would stop bugging the poor SiliconDust guys for status!

Re: List of ATSC 3.0 stations?
KFPH-CD is broadcasting ATSC 3. KASW is supposed to switch over Any Day Now after major COVID-related delays, though they've apparently run out of money and cancelled 2 of their DTS sites (serving Gila Bend and Queen Creek). LOL @ 4K/HDR on broadcast TV. Networks and stations don't have the infrast...

Re: List of ATSC 3.0 stations?
Hi, Nick - I know that Phoenix is one of the primary ATSC 3.0 test markets.
Which stations here are actively broadcasting in ATSC 3.0? Also, how are the broadcasts for 4k / HDR content?
Thanks,
AzJazz

Re: Real-Time Signal Strength / Signal Quality / Symbol Meters
HDHomeRun Config GUI is still available as part of the HDHomeRun Software. Go Start, Run, and enter "c:\Program Files\Silicondust\HDHomeRun\hdhomerun_config_gui.exe" Nick Thanks, Nick - that was exactly what I was looking for. How does the Quatro 4K ATSC 1.0 tuner compare to the HD HomeRun Connect ...

Real-Time Signal Strength / Signal Quality / Symbol Meters
Hi - Will there be real-time Signal Strength / Signal Quality / Symbol Meters (or their equivalent) available for all purchasers of the QUATRO 4K? There used to be a HDHomerun GUI tool for this on the HDHomeRun many years ago, but I can't find it anymore on the Win10 HDHomeRun application. The one-t...

Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
I am wondering if LG 2019 UHD smart TV's will support this If you mean "natively" receive ATSC 3.0 broadcasts, the answer is: Nope. This would require a hardware change to the LG TV tuners to support ATSC 3.0. A few of the upper-end 2020 LG OLED TVs will support ATSC 3.0, according to a recent CNET...

Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
Will there be any way for PC DVR software (Plex, in my case) to detect the ATSC 3.0 broadcast in the data stream to prioritize that ATSC 3.0 it gets recorded instead of the ATSC 1.0? Or, will this just happen naturally when the Quatro 4K gets tuned to a channel by Plex, like the Quatro would get tun...

For me, the Quatro 4k KS contribution primed the pump -
Now, I'll also have to purchase another 3TB drive for my QNAP NAS to store all those larger 4K OTA recordings!

Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0
This was perfect timing! I was just looking into cutting the (TV) cord with Cox in Phoenix, and I looked at the SiliconDust site to see if there was a ATSC 3.0 box available since Phoenix is the primary test market. There wasn't a SD ATSC 3.0 box available last week, so I started researching other H...
