Re: metadata - setting own ImageURL
Hmm. Thanks. I don't suppose there's a way of getting a directory of series ID related images from SD's server so that I could plant those in instead?! I'm thinking the series IDs that WMC + MCEBuddy put in (which are inconsistent) are maybe not the ones SD would have, so I can't 'guess' them... :?

metadata - setting own ImageURL
Hi I've been using MCEBuddy (and a bit of my own code to tidy up the metadata) and I'm pretty close to getting the 1 TB or so (I know) of .WTV files from Windows Media Center into HDHomeRun format. One thing I've not managed to crack has been thumbnail images - set through the ImageURL field (in the...

Re: Recording metadata - TPeterson
It's not extensively tested - and I take no responsibility if it screws up anyone's files - but I hacked together some C# code to read, change and write metadata fields here: https://github.com/mrrrk/MpegMetadata Maybe someone will find it useful :D edit - just realised there's something very simila...

Re: Existing WTV recorded shows
If anyone's interested, and is a developer, I hacked together some C# that can read, change and write the metadata fields:

(it's probably not bulletproof and I take no responsibility if it screws up anyone's files - but it might be useful to someone!)

Re: Existing WTV recorded shows
...at the risk of answering my own question, I had some success with a trial version of MCEBuddy to convert a few files. Seems I also needed to restart the 'HDHomeRun RECORD' Windows service before the shows appeared. I'd still be interested if anyone has any information on just what HDHR needs to s...

Existing WTV recorded shows
Hi I've just bought a Flex Quatro and downloaded the Windows software with the intention of using it to replace our old, creaking Windows Media Center - still running on Windows 7 but crashing regularly! HDHR all looks great but we have 100's of *existing* .WTV recordings from Windows Media Center t...
