Just wondering if I have a ATSC 3.0 tuner in my TV which I know works with DRM and SD could make an ATSC 3.0 encrypted file, could that file be input to a RF Modulator that was connected to the RF input of my TV? I can still watch it on my Sony TV, just no way to record. At least we still have ATSC 1.0 for probably two or three more years. I don't think we will ever convince the government that the data owners don't have a right to protect their data from perfect permanent and sharable copies. We ...

I can still watch it on my Sony TV, just no way to record. At least we still have ATSC 1.0 for probably two or three more years. I wish SiliconDust could build an Android player module that could be DRM certified by A3SA to provide the secure path from tuner to HDMI output. It would only be the player and all the controls to the player would be handled by an Android app which would not be required to be certified by A3SA ...
