I have a TV that can play ATSC3.0 DRM, but in my area (Dallas) we don't have an ATSC3.0 NBC station. Oh well plenty of other options to watch in higher quality than ATSC1.0, just need to spend a little cash.

The existing ATSC 3.0 hardware we make is already compliant. It's the software/playback side that decrypts DRM, so there's nothing to change on the hardware side.

Just wondering if I have a ATSC 3.0 tuner in my TV which I know works with DRM and SD could make an ATSC 3.0 encrypted file, could that file be input to a RF Modulator that was connected to the RF input of my TV? I am guessing it would need to use ATSC 3.0 compliant RF modulation. Not sure if the ...

I wish SiliconDust could build an Android player module that could be DRM certified by A3SA to provide the secure path from tuner to HDMI output. It would only be the player and all the controls to the player would be handled by an Android app which would not be required to be certified by A3SA ...
