Streaming (html)/Network (status.json) rate reported by the HDHomeRun is a report of the number of bits sent of the TS stream for that channel to your device.
It is not a bandwidth needed or guaranteed number that a 3rd party device can necessarily depend on.

Re: Unable to find Tuner if not on the same Vlan as TV - walkerx
I've updated all my IPv6 to use SLAAC (was using a mixture as my ISP supports both SLAAC and DHCPv6)
The tuners are receiving an IPv6 address and Link-Local address as well as their IPv4 address
And the IPv6 matches the IPv6 prefix expected for that VLAN segment?
I've allowed inter vlan ...

Re: Unable to find Tuner if not on the same Vlan as TV - walkerx
How is your IPv6 managed in the vlans?
Currently the tuners only support SLAAC while the DVR service on a server will support whatever the server supports (SLAAC, dhcpv6, etc.)
Since the app on your devices can see the DVR it looks like site multicast is working (is our own service not mDNS) across ...

Re: Switched Record Engine from Windows to Linux, no recordings
I added Port=4999 to the configuration file and restarted. The hdhomerun_record status shows it as running, but I can't access this from a Windows computer/browser (refused to connect)? I have the IP address to the Linux machine correct.
Make sure you're typing in http://<ip address> in the ...

Re: Playback of DVR recording suddenly stops
Checking in again, since this is still happening. Based on the information I provided earlier in this thread, is there anything else that can be done to address this issue? I can submit diagnostics if that would be helpful. This is still quite a problem.

Re: Signal Strength App
It still does not seem to want to install with Bridge as the default. Here are the steps that I performed:
Stopped the docker
Removed the docker (with the 'also remove image' checkbox checked
From the community Apps screen, clicked on 'Previous Apps', then 'Docker'
Checked the checkbox next ...

Re: Signal Strength App
I just pushed an updated template. The new one should use bridge mode by default with the correct port mappings.
Hmmm, I just removed the docker and then installed it again. It's still installing as a "Host" Network Type. Maybe I need to try again later?

Re: Signal Strength App
I think I'm in a catch-22. From what I can tell, Unraid will not allow you to override the port number when the container is set to host mode. If I set the container to bridge mode, I can override the port number, and I can bring up the HDHomeRun signal monitor website, but it does not find any of ...

For the installation: should I use the 2022 instructions which I found here or is there an easier method now available?
I know my way around a command line but at my age time becomes quite precious.

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
UnRaid apps do not contain a HDHomeRun docker, but then I found this thread and it seems to be viable.
The thread seems to suggest any updates to the HDHomeRun application will update if the docker is started and stopped.
I noticed the actual docker is several years old so is it still viable ...

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
I'm having trouble getting this working fully on a UGreen Nas. I have this image created and running on docker inside UGOS. The engine is running and I was able to record shows inside the HDHomeRun app. I can also confirm the shows are recorded in the shared folders. I can watch the recordings ...

How can I verify which version of the recording engine I am running? I am using Unraid. I understand with every docker image restart it is pulling down a new version if needed. Thanks
