Do I have to turn off my particle accelerator and rail gun, too?
Hey, what app shows signal strength and quality?
Signal GH

can't get channel with 90+ signal strength & quality, and antenna choice

Most of the transmitters in Las Vegas are on the same hill in Henderson, about six miles south (and a smidge west) of me). Two are about ten miles west and 2.5 miles south.

(which I attempted to locate days before)
with no drive, it's working fine as a tuner (although the back red led perpetually blinks).
It still thinks it's a DVR, though, which seems to stop the iPad (but not the iPhone, appletv, or Mac) from going to live broadcast.

Re: Apple TV: Resume from Pause not working
I've found appletv remote to be quirky, and to lose buttons.
Mines the A2843, 128gb from a couple of years ago.
On the first television, I was impressed that it simply talked to the television and I didn't have to play the "enter 3 digit codes until it works" game.

check and see what network your devices are actually on.
I was stumped by the "no hdhomeun found " message--while I was watching on another device.
It seems that the computer for some reason hopped to the wifi of my cable modem instead of my house network.

If I pull the network cable, the networks red light blinks counterpoint to the middle red light.
Plugging it back in, it blinks green before turning green.

Re: Channels lost and can't be found!
before it went completely AWOL (but after losing channels) I ran an updater on it. I really couldn't say now whether it immediately went AWOL, or a bit later.
I pulled the drive, and the behavior is unchanged. It doesn't show up on the network either through the application on Sox or HDHomeRun ...

Re: Channels lost and can't be found!
I can't turn them on at this point! It simply isn't coming up to be seen on the network!
I've tried from appletv, my MacBook, and an iPad.
I've left it unplugged for a few hours to no avail.
Even picked up a universal power supply today to try, but apparently it's a dud.

But are we sure that the website really was down, as opposed to it being cloudflare making life difficult?
I've seen it hinder access on various sites over recent years.

Re: Channels lost and can't be found!

Re: Channels lost and can't be found! Now not connecting to router!
I had planned on pulling that tomorrow, moving it downstairs for that.
But now the unit isn't responding. I went for an unsuccessful nap at halftime of the Skunk Bowl, and it wasn't the n network anymore when I came back down.

Re: Channels lost and can't be found!
hmm.
I moved it upstairs and found a high position where it gets them all.
But that suggests that the tuner is far less sensitive than a television? whereas previously it was noticeably better on a week signal than our Sony?
