Question on splitters

I have a HDHomeRun Duo doing nothing. I was wondering if I can put a splitter on my Flex 4 and add the Duo so I have 6 tuners? Or would the decrease in signal strength produce bad reception? The Flex 4 antenna has an amplifier at the antenna and gets strong reception.

I also have an extra antenna ...

What will it look like?

I am about 60 miles south from Tampa and I cant get any ATSC 1.0 stations but I can get one station from nearby Sarasota. However, I received all Tampa ATSC 3.0 stations with a $40 attic antenna!!! But when all but FOX went DRM I had a 4 tuner Flex being used for only two stations. To get the ...

Re: Encryption

My issue with the gods of DRM is the hidden agenda. I didn't see this coming.

Years back I was paying the cable company almost $30/month to rent a cable box with DVR. The market we are in (Tampa) was too far for an attic antenna and the closer market (Ft Myers) didn't cover our local news and ...

Re: Encryption

So blame me, or at least my Karma. It has to be that, and I am super-sick with disqust and disappointment. And I absolutely LOVE this hardware that I bought two because I needed one to use a separately-aimed antenna so I could get my Perry Mason from a station that was not in the coverage "CONE ...

Re: HDHomeRun 4K is Nextgen TV Certified

I can testify that my HDHR5-4K can successfully record an ATSC 3.0 broadcast. Through the $20 WalMart Onn "Google TV box" no less! :D
Now if somebody from the broadcast industry will PLEASE work with SiliconDust on DRM, I can quit being so mean to the broadcasters in the AVS ATSC 3.0 forum ...
