I agree, we need a [technical] explanation. If it’s just a validation on the Android system, then why is it taking so long??

Any updates when DRM and re-validation of Android certificates will be fixed? Us PRIME users have been left out of watching DRM channels more than a month now.

The problem is not a cert expiring. The problem is the validation of the Android system that needs to happen when renewing the certificate.

CableCARD DRM channels work on Windows, XBox, and iPhone/iPad with the new certificates.

This is now a recurring nightmare. If the device won't work without external APIs or services, the device is basically useless. We aren't stealing TV and we are investing in what may be considered non-traditional methods of delivery albeit legitimate.

All of my Andrioid devices are not playing DRM channels again. Have Nvidia Shield devices and my cell phone and all are affected. Noticed this when I returned from vacation a few days ago.

I've rebooted the HDtuner and all devices with no change. Non-DRM channels are fine.
